it’s messed up that xmas songs are gonna come steal some weeks at #1 from it but i hope it goes right back in january. such a smash :duca:

really impressive, especially since the the last time certain pop girls managed to have a 6x week #1 smash was 7 years ago :clap3:

This is how it's making its way to 10th week:

1-1-1-1-2-1-1-1-xx-xx-1-1-1

I hope Can I Get It or Oh My God will replace EOM ...

The way this song is going from strength to strength :skull: It’s actually insane, especially considering how many people said it would only last 2-3 weeks at #1 because of how “weak” it was. You really have to laugh.

Adele is the music industry. No one is touching her.

The fact that without Christmas music it would have been #1 for at least 10 weeks :rip:

I remember the "2 weeks at #1" predictions and then free fall or "Stay" will be #1 again soon  :sistrens:

Not this about to pass RITD as her 2nd longest running #1 and being a global smash :deadbanana2:

the only one to do such achievement twice, first with Hello and second with Easy on Me

:clap3:

I feel like this is not what they wanted, they released a more low key song like EOM as the lead hoping it wouldn’t be huge like Hello and then promoted other more radio/streaming-friendly songs with the album release

Well they have really promoted anything in the US

OMG is getting serviced to radio today officially and I’m thinking they’ll wait out the Christmas freeze to fully promote it by then hopefully eom has fallen a bit

Yes, the longevity is really quite something. Who else but Adele (aka the music industry) could do that with a "weak" song?
