2.74 million for NSync WW?

They did 2.4 million in the US, so this means they only did 340k outside the US?  :psyduck:

Adele doing over 6 million :clap3:

Somehow I feel like The Jonas Brothers are more relevant than BTS

By the way which NSync record? The record belongs to Adele

Biggest first week for a group or boyband

They simply are :sorry:

BTS are quite simply, completely unknown outside of their direct fanbase. No one in the GP knows who they are and you have to actively search to hear any of their songs. They may have big sales but in 20 years time literally know one will know they existed because none of their songs are particularly famous, let alone classics. They can break all the first week records they want, but none of their albums have any real longevity because no one outside their fanbase knows they exist.

They will break Adele record with her next album

And Adele only wishes she could get half of the Map of the sould 7 first weel :gaycat5:

There’s a world outside the Anglosphere, they’re the biggest act in the world right now

They sold 1.5M in the US, there is no way in hell they sold 3.5M outside the U.S.

That’s shipments.

Whats new?

BTS already broke N’sync record last year with Persona:fan:

if BTS can’t snatch Adele’s record next era, the record will belong to Adele forever :celestial5:

They still didn’t sell 5M first week, the figure on the internet is for shipments.

They did, they were hella local. I mean for comparison, Oops sold 1.3m in US but 2.4ww so yeah, they were humongous in US but their stats out of US were a bit, meh. These are the peaks according to Wikipedia.
