It is because of that. People seem to forget whenever there's a long weekend, Billboard posts its articles on Monday.

Last year’s MLK BB200 update was posted the Sunday before.

Well this is interesting because Selena has the hype and attention while Roddy Rich is actually popping off well too.....so....

I feel like this happened last year when people were really interested in who would be number one because there was a pop girl involved.  I think it was Lana, and Billboard kept issuing excuses and people were going mental on here. It was funny.  I can't remember who won.

Only by HDD, but in some unusual circumstances BB200 has some differences from HDD numbers

For a OST no one cared about but they stream a couple tracks from it for that week and that was it 

To think she could still have her streak of #1 albums that started with Music...ugh

Yeah, I remember that week.....the Eagles released an album exclusively at Wal-Mart. BB all of a sudden decided to count single-chain exclusives a day or two before the chart went out.

not true. last MLK the BB200 was updated on Sunday like normal. only the Hot 100 was delayed because that normally comes out on Monday which is MLK.

I know!  The empire soundtrack was such an unworthy record to interrupt that streak.  Such a shame. BB is such a joke sometimes but we still care about it.

I'm sure there is some goodwill from Billboard towards Selena. They may be recalculating everything again but I think Roddy got the #1.
