The album is currently at 750K downloads from China's 4 biggest music platforms. With streams and (the very few) physical copies in China, it might actually be a possibility. Whether people admit it or not, Taylor is literally in a league of her own.

Just to put people in perspective, Lover is already the best-selling western album of the year in China. In fact, it's the best-selling western album since reputation and third best-selling ever behind reputation and 1989.

 

It was certified Diamond on QQ Music, the biggest music app in China, less than an hour after its official release (versus 4 days for reputation) and is already the 5th best-selling album of all time - including Chinese artists - on NetEase Music, the second biggest music app in China. China's music market keeps getting bigger and bigger. Soon enough, it'll enter the top 3 biggest markets in the world. This is a promising sign for the future of Taylor's commercial success on a global scale.

Honestly I think that if she wanted to (and the Chinese government approved), she could literally do a whole stadium leg in China alone and easily make tens of millions. The Chinese government can be extremely strict with concerts tho, so I don't know what will go down exactly. She might end up just doing arenas or nothing at all

Well she recently said she wants the Lover tour to be more intimate so arenas are right up her alley then
