Kelly recently talked about it in an interview, she said she wrote that song, lyrics and melody, but gave them credit on the song because she knew they were the only reason she was getting to release it.  Even if they didn't contribute much, having males who were successful writers at the time also listed on it made Clive like it.  Basically to him, the song had no credibility with just her name on it.

 

Here's a clip of her talking about the background of it, it's timed up at the right time of the video (around 35:50 though is when she really says it)

Why are you fuming so hard out of nowhere  Taylor clearly does sing live, those songs are all critically acclaimed and the ones that were singles absolutely have had longevity.   I promise you, if you don't like Taylor, you'll be MUCH happier if you just don't pay her mind instead of seeking her out to hate on her.

Sis self-written means the song was completely composed by only one person, music and lyrics.  Out of the Woods, for example, is not self written.....while Taylor wrote all the lyrics, Jack wrote the music/track.  They're both listed as songwriters on the song bc they both were a part of it.  Red, however, Taylor wrote the music and the lyrics so she is the only writer listed.
