He should drop the video at the end of the month. Actually the song is already doing good on yt (almost 1M US daily streams), Spotify needs to get better for the #1 but it's slowly improving (just made its comeback in the top20)

Such tenacity. Would not have chosen it as lead myself but its really held strong since release.

Ed needs to release the video when the song is at least top 10 on radio and higher on Spotify.

Ed ain't going #1 unless he at least makes the top 10/5 on Spotify, that's how the Hot 100 works now. It'll definitely make the top 5 though, if it doesn't pick on on Spotify it'll be a Believer/Feel It Still sized hit.

With good airplay and digital sales, (which he already has and will keep increasing), and a viral video, he wouldnt need to be high on spotify at all

It's on "New Music Friday" playlist and also it is on BBC Radio 1 playlist A (which could mean that it's the 2nd single, at least in the UK).

Slashing the price by 4 means sales need to be multiplied by 4 at least, which is never going to happen. $0.69 discounts used to push songs 1.5x only, WITH front page exposure, which is less money than it'd have earned at full price.

Yeah, I will have to deal with Camila being blocked but at least it will be by a good song.
