Bad And Boujee (Oct 2016) = 940k

Black Beatles (Sept 2016) = 1.3M

Congratulations (January 2017) = 800k

iSpy (Dec 2016) = 800k

Redbone (Nov 2016) = 580k

Wild Thoughts (June 2017) = 450k

All the songs you listed (with the exception of I'm The One) were released ~6 months before Wild Thoughts so I would expect them to have better sales (half of these haven't even sold that much...).

Not to mention that digital sales are worse right now than they were 6-7 months ago. Wild Thoughts will likely be another million seller for Rihanna in the long run so I'm not sure what you were trying to prove here.

I'm The One is more pop-friendly than WT and it has Justin Bieber + Quavo + Lil Wayne + Chance the rapper.

None of the other songs I mentioned had the same Radio support, tho :celestial5: And pretty much most of them were streamed more than WT as well. :coffee:

Again I would expect them to be streamed more since they were released 6 months before WT.

WT has bad callout scores on Pop which means pop listeners aren't really here for it, and it's struggling on HAC, aka the two formats that sell. The only reason why WT went top 5 on Pop is because it features Rihanna and it's the #2 song in the country.

Your desperation to make WT look like some kind of flop song though.... weird :dies:

And I will add that urban songs sung by male artists are easier hits than urban songs sung by female artists, especially in 2017.

Wild Thoughts is literally the first urban smash hit that features a female artist since Needed Me. Now Bodak Yellow is coming (but it's local as hell)

Considering WT has been #2 for 6-7 weeks now, this is pretty tragic. Congratulations didn't even go top 5, Redbone didn't go top 10. Obviously WT will outsell, but that's not the point. It's selling really poorly.

Radio is doing amazing (just like every Rih song), streaming good too, but not sales

So it looks like Taylor already topped iTunes, the song is interesting, I can see it having a very big first week (and if the VMA's performance is true, then the sales are going to be very 'massive' 300k+). However, it's not the typicial pop song, it's a fun track, but it's different, we'll see if it clicks with the public like the previous ones.

Vma performance was officially denied?

But yeah the song is absolutely not as universal as Shake It Off. I really may not be that successful.

Anyway for the short time. Getting Despacito remix below 20% would be okay. Getting it below 15% would be great.

Wait. How fast was that? Already number one?

:jonny:

Im not sure whether LWYMMD will be a hit in the long run. It's different. But these days, different seems to be a good thing a lot of the time so it might go well for Taylor idk.

Let's see how far down will Taylor send "Despacito"... I can see it (combined) going under 10% of "Look What You Made Me Do".

Already there and I'm a fan and still don't like SIO, and I love this one so nothing is universal.

"Not as". Sure.

Happy to hear you like this :'( I like it much more than SIO too.

And yeah below 15% first update is amazing :duca:

So annoying though that she put the album up for pre-orders... Will have that old mess again with instant grats and what counts and what doesn't. Ugh.

Taylor has a huge lead but will start free falling Saturday (maybe Friday evening) so I won't celebrate to early. I'm still debating whether it will go #1 or not.

IDWLF didn't have Spotify streams and it got a 80% lead

That's What I Like was a 9.97% at #2 during Sign Of The Times peak and it sold 74k that week (according to kworb)

Harry is completely different though obviously.

I don't believe in jinxing, since it's extremely illogical :cm:

Y'all can keep jinxing it, then. :fan:

I cannot believe I like SIO more than this. Anyhow, "Despacito" already at 21% combined. She will definitely send it lower than 5% combined.

mm actually I charnged my mind this will probably go #1 I forgot this was on spotify and youtube as well. And radio will spam it. still I'l wait to see how fast it starts falling before I say it's confirmed. mm

Despacito is so dead :dies:

Well, you would expect a song that is 30 weeks old and has been #1 for 16 weeks to be dead already. :deadbanana2:
