Another iconic battle will be the race to 3 billion views

See You Again

Expected to hit 3B: 08/2/2017

Despacito:

Expected to hit 3B: 08/3/2017

I feel like Despacito will snatch SYA's wig first despite a day behind in expectation :jonny:

Media news will report it again as first music video to hit 3B if it happens = free boosts. :rip:

I'll be kind of salty if SYA snatches 3B first, such a non event

Oh I totally forgot about that. Thank you, I had absolutely no idea why Despacito was #2. That doesn't seem fair for the number two song to be selling more than two times as much as the the number one song :cm:

Yeah the U.K. songs chart has become irrelevant.

Better than not hearing a second of it at all. :fan:

Looks like Sam Smith and P!nk are two of the notable August releases :duca:

wow, isn't despacito around 100k in recent weeks? it's interesting how it's still a struggle for a release to top it for just an hour.

eta: for the main version.

124k as of last week... I don't even think Taylor could dethrone it, at least on the Hot100, of course.

Some new rules where streams are counted less if a song has been out for a certain amount of weeks (i think it's 10).

I like this rule. Streaming gets too many repeat credits. Could be same fans streaming every damn week.

It has 13 Linkin Park songs above it, this shouldn't be surprising.

Well, hopefully she goes back to the top 40 after all of the LP tracks fall, because...

Don't know what you're trying to get at.. when one is a brand new single with a new video that just came out while the other is about two months old.

well WT has very low sales to be #1 on hot100 right? :rip: I like the song a lot but Despacito is just to strong i guess.

12 weeks at #1 on Digital songs..2 more weeks and it breaks the record which is 13. This is so going 2x platinum in pure sales also.

Despacito's digital stability :dies: very impressive considering that people are streaming it 60m+ times a week.

I really pity her. Her solo career looks so grim.
