Believer top 10 next week on BB 200%. 

Is there any reason in particular that Wild Thoughts randomly jumps 5-6% in certain updates and then randomly dropped 5-6% in other updates. Something doesn't feel right about its updates

Screaming when i first saw it ,i went "wtf" , its like there's mass amount of people who buy it at the same time and after it drops . But its probably a glitch

5 weeks under Hot Tracks to be removed and go to 0,69$ Songs  this is like unmatched.

 

Anyway happy Believer is doing great. I prefer Thunder and WIT tho

Yeah I don't think anything was promoted on iTunes more than Camila.

Yeah, the whole album is just. But if "Thunder" is second single, it's building up really good on iTunes and Spotify too.

I hope Imagine Dragons get the #1 over DJ Khaled, but his SPS will probably be huge because he has 22 songs in his album (A Drake tea  )

It's actually hilarious how much they're trying to force this to be a hit.

I think this is the closest "Believer" ever sell compared to #1.

More tracks don't automatically mean anything

 

Some ppl will skip over tracks and the way that the album is set up...all the singles and strongest songs are literally the first 8 or so songs

Yeah, more tracks can give you an edge in a debut week, but not much beyond that. It doesn't help if people don't like the album or if the album doesn't have any hits (see: Lil Yachty, whose 21-track release is having zero longevity).

It's still a big advantage though when you consider it only takes 71 people to listen to the album in full to reach 1 SEA when an 11 track album will take 144 people.

 

Yes people skip over tracks but from what we understand Spotify counts tracks after a minute or so of listening which is usually how long it takes to decide to skip one.

 

It's not a problem in the long term trajectory of an album but it inflates debut numbers - particularly if the artist is quite popular. The length of an album shouldn't be a way to do that and it never has before.
