How much did Hello sell in its first 24 hours? You couldn't properly judge the percentage over #2 because Sorry was stronger than many #1s its debut week, and sold around 270k in its first week.

Has any song even sold 400k in a full week since Hello? Can't Stop The Feeling had 367k its opening week, and that's the biggest post Hello week I know of off the top of my head.

You're right. And I believe CSTF!'s debut week was the only 300k+ week in 2016.

Yep, it's at 1.584M according to Nielsen's Q1 update. It could be the only song to sell 2M in 2017...

Kworb has Hello as the strongest selling single ever going against the competition for a reason, and UF isn't far behind. Would Hello have had a bigger opening week in 2013? Or would the demand for her music after four years instead of two compensate for the drop in sales from 2013 to 2015?

Based on my projections, "Shape Of You" might end up selling a total of 2,5M when it's all said and done. Pretty much on par with 2016's best selling hits.
