    Interesting

If it made sense for any tour it would be FWT with the domination of the monolith and the fact that it was so long and tall compared with stadium screens which are wide. The shots would have looked quite different. Still wouldn't have been bad. Every tour since tho including OTR ii it's just looked awkward and like a cop out for paying a fee. It would have only added to the feeling that you're still in the party at Renaissance in particular to those outside Club Renny.

I really hope she pays for the use of the stadiums' screens next tour (I know she probably won't). Seeing videos of another current tour (doesn't even matter whose) that has them turned on; the experience looks so much more complete and immersive when they're in use. Having them be empty black silhouettes filling large areas of the venue instead is just awkward and incomplete-looking and it's somewhat baffling that an artist with Bey's attention to detail hasn't caught on to this. The shows make plenty of profit and she has plenty of money. Why not just pay for their use? It's the one subject I've seen some other artists' stans come at her on where my response is "you know what? Fine, have that one". (go ahead and boo me if you want)
  4. I hadn't heard any before I went to Lollapalooza BR but played some songs on the way down that I liked, then I really enjoyed his set. A few songs (Delete Ya, BBB) remain in my rotation. Looking forward to seeing him again at All Points East in August.
  5. They are in their 40s and come from an era where record labels actively worked against their artists having longevity. Yes, being a successful legacy act with a still-engaged audience in 2026 absolutely is enough. They wouldn't even be filling up IndigO2 if it was the lineup with Heidi, Amelle and whatever her name was btw.
  6. Because Chromatica is Ariana's best album
  7. It feels bittersweet that we're getting a new show tonight. Excited for something fresh but Ultrasound really has been her best performance thus far in terms of energy, setlist and rawness. Wonder what the next will bring.
  8. I'm no LM but Gaga's debut domination is like none other than we've seen or likely will see again this century. She really came in and flipped pop culture on its head for 3 years. No other artist can be compared to the likes of Taylor/Beyoncé at their industry-dominating peaks within the first 3 years of their career.
  9. This song (and songs like BHG) is the epitome of Boringyoncé I hope she never makes a song like this again.
  10. Gaga's GP interest struggles without support from a collab, occasion-themed performance or a movie. It's easily her.
  11. Possibly the funniest thing is Rihanna stans trying to insert themselves into any Jay Z's beefs. That lady has shown nothing but respect to Hov throughout her career. You just want to be involved.
  12. That's not why all of them are light on Grammys sis.
  13. Yeah. I'm no Grammy worshipper but the fact that she went from 8 nominations for this album to becoming an artist that the academy would never even look at is quite telling. Like, this girl made Hello Kitty.
  14. Just what I was looking for thank you
  15. Her artistic regression needs to be studied.
  16. Being in her 30s now she doesn't have to see herself as in competition with actual gen z girls but it would be nice for her to feel a little more in the game. I think this era will decide her fate if it doesn't hit unfortunately.
  17. God this show was ******* abysmal.
  18. The entire point of Higher was that Rihanna can't sing it???
  19. People are reading too far into this stat and viewing it through a 2026 lens; streaming has closed the gap a little but it was entirely possible to be a singles artist and still be very popular prior to the mid 2010s. Rihanna didn't score a US number 1 album until her 7th record, yet she'd had 11 number 1 singles and won multiple Grammys by then. Sabrina would definitely be a singles artist if her peak was pre-streaming.
  20. Both have had their strong moments and more than their fair share of weak ones. Both have strengths the other doesn't. Rihanna wins on control, Katy wins on power. Overall, I'd say Rihanna just about. Her best live moments just feel a little more on point Katy wins for effort and not leaving all the hard work to the backing track though. I'd sooner watch her live.
  21. I honestly just don't think her team saw her UK album chart positions as particularly important. Singles and shows were way higher on the agenda when she was doing UK promo.
  22. Excited for the new show but not looking forward to (most likely) giving up the Green Light -> David -> Ribs finale. It's literally perfect. Bonus points if she adds in AWA.
  23. 'The way this stage is the same as the Renaissance tour stage except for the fact that they're literally not similar at all'
  24. Here's hoping this tour will be a catalyst for the inevitable burst of the touring bubble. Wonder how different the stage for MSG will be, this is too big in every sense for an arena.
