Tom Holland singled out as worst Odyssey performance, called "comic book basic"
I'm glad it wasn't just my imagination. I have yet to see the movie but saw a short clip between Tom Holland, and Anne Hathaway, and he looked so bad. He does not have a lot of range and should probably stay to funny action movies. I wonder why Christopher Nolan casted him in such an important role. Maybe Timothy Chalamet was out available.

Is it because she doesn't do interviews or say or sing something that isn't scripted so you create the fantasy?

Olivia Rodrigo reveals she'll never spill industry secrets: "I'm media-trained"
I think the younger generation understands what she means better than us who stan MPGs from 2010 and earlier. They see what the fans and media can do to women in the industry. The girls can either stay open and be dragged (see Katy and JLo), not do interviews like Bey or be media trained. I think it makes sense that most new acts ended up media trained. If it protects their mental health, I'm all for it.

Olivia addresses babydoll dress controversy
Because it's 2026 and we recognize how weird it is to infantalize women. While it may have been punk at one point in time, culture changes and in this situation, I think for the better.

A New Jeneration? "On The Floor" soars to #31 on Spotify WW (2.64M Streams)
JLo will forever be an icon. Imagine connecting on this level with the world after 2 years of non-stop internet trolls. It isn't stopping her next massive Netlflix film, 15 year old song challenging current hits or this months #1 dance hit SMT. And she started in 1990 after getting kicked out of her house for having the audacity to think she could make a career in entertainment. That's right no mom or dad to support her dreams. This is iconic behavior.

Shakira gets called out for being a "racist white woman" for her new music video
Honestly that's awesome for Shakira. I had no idea.

Shakira gets called out for being a "racist white woman" for her new music video
I love how easy it is to poke Shakira stans. Really one of the most insecure fan bases out there. Excuse me while I go listen to the new Latin American queen, Karol G 🤫

Shakira gets called out for being a "racist white woman" for her new music video
I love how Shakira is getting dragged while JLo is getting a ton of praise this month. Pride month started early this year.

Jennifer Lopez & David Guetta f/ Gabito Ballesteros - "Sálvame Hoy"
Why do I like this more than the English version? Translating songs from English to Spanish rarely, if ever, works.

Britney spotted out of rehab after completing treatment and is healthy and clean
Oh so she's still not taking her addiction seriously. Until she is willing to change, it will only get worse. It's sucks to see that her resentments run so deep that she'd rather hold on to them than be free. Anyone who has battled addiction knows the struggle. I'm genuinely sad to think what bottom she has to reach in order to seek help.

JLo updates her Linkedin (CEO of Air Cruz airlines)
I know you're joking, but I'm not in the mood today. I think people forget that Jlo for all her achievements is still "Latina". One Latina isn't- no matter how many tens of millions of records, critical acclaim or billions at the box office- is not going to change the system that she works under. Rant over.

Darkchild to Brandy: "Go do what ur gonna do while I go sell 5M records w/ Beyoncé"
I always wonder what happened to Brandi career. I was too Young to see when she was at the top of the charts but by the time, Ashanti, Cristina Milian and Beyoncé were selling. Randy had pretty much faded by then. I guess part of her career slowing down was no longer working with dark child who was making hits for everyone in the 2000s.

Camera footage of Chappel Roan caught asking security guard for help (not the kid)
What? Britney had an unknown drug problem throughout her fame as well as other mental health issues. Fame and paparazzi are felt by numerous stars with much bigger fame than Chappell- see Bey and JLo who turned out just fine and have experienced magnitudes level of worse behavior by paparazzi and non fans.

Spotify Female/Male Artists Rank above the age of 40, any surprises?
I love Shakira and listen to her daily. I genuinely think she is a music prodigy whose mind isn't appreciated nearly as much in the Anglo sphere. But like I said, she seems to attract thin skin fans who can't appreciate other women. It's weird. I speak as a JLo stan who was celebrating both women during the halftime show and then looked around to see how Shakira's fans felt the need to put down JLo etc. it was super weird and I've only continued to see the same online since then.

Spotify Female/Male Artists Rank above the age of 40, any surprises?
I'm not trying to be obtuse myself but doesn't "…they choose based on their mood, their personal preferences, what was marketed to them, what's familiar to them, what they want to explore" equal impact? Especially when it's been a decade after an artists debut? Like, I listen to Lana maybe every other year when I'm feeling low (not quite depressed like her normal fans but pretty close and I listen to her cause I know it will scratch that part of me. I believe that's called impact. In the current political and economic environment, I think it makes sense that there with more anxious, depressed, and lonely people, Lana serves better than other artists.

Spotify Female/Male Artists Rank above the age of 40, any surprises?
Not surprised by JLo. She hasn't released a pop friendly song since Ain't Your Mama which was in 2017??? Girl was been focused on and serenading Batman which honestly I respect. I sometimes wish she'd be messy my Bey and Shakira for the public by singing about the intimate drama to be a mainstay on current charts. Thankfully her residency continues to sell out and her Netflix deals continues to produce hits. JLo just had her biggest streaming opening on Spotify like last week so maybe we'll continue to have fun dance songs.
