Summerween becomes a thing!!!!

Featured Replies

Originally introduced by the iconic Disney XD series "Gravity Falls" as "[a local holiday] because the residents of Gravity Falls love Halloween so much that they celebrate it twice a year".

In the show it takes place on June 22.

Now it seems like it's actually celebrated for people who miss autumn vibes :

I forgot the Summerween concept came from Gravity Falls. Booktubers have been doing Summerween reads for a while now and it gets me in the mood to read some horror this time around

It's been a thing for a couple of years now. More and more people are celebrating Halloween twice a year.

Naturally, also, a lot of Halloween and fall decor starts showing up in stores towards the end of summer. So, it makes sense that people would be excited about Halloween. With Halloween just being 100 days away, I feel like it's fair game. That time flies by like it's nothing.
