Mariah Carey - 'Here For It All'
Classy, lush, and warm. An album for grown folks. Classic MC sound (and lyrics) while still containing elements of freshness. Favorites from the new songs include the title track, Play This Song, In Your Feelings, I Won't Allow It, My Love. Enjoyed Jesus I Do too, which should be sent to gospel radio.

Mariah Carey to receive Video Vanguard Award & perform at the VMAs!
The award is presented to artists for their "outstanding contributions" and "profound impact" on music videos AND popular culture. Not just music videos. Most chatter I've read has been about her being long overdue for the honor, especially considering she debuted long before many of the recent recipients.

Mariah Carey to receive Video Vanguard Award & perform at the VMAs!
I don't understand this argument. Diana Ross never won a competitive Grammy, does that mean she didn't deserve the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award? Of course not. Oftentimes, lifetime achievement awards go to artists overlooked for competitive wins when their career has obviously merited such honors.

Mariah Carey - "Type Dangerous"
Watch the video surprise just being Wentworth Miller to continue the storyline from It's Like That and We Belong Together.

Mariah Carey - "Type Dangerous"
That's one of the song's strength. She's giving a kiss off to these hating hoes and her exes in such a nonchalant way. It's very Mariah in that sense. It'd make less of a punch if she was angry or mad in her delivery.

Amy Adams' career defining role first look
This has a very good distributor, awards-friendly release date, and director. This might be her year.

Why Does J.Lo Get Flack For Not Singing Her Songs?
Because she's not that musically gifted, especially at the beginning of her career. Yes, other singers have used background vocalists to sing parts of their songs, but do you think anyone would actually accuse Toni Braxton of not being able to sing? Even weaker voices like the ladies of TLC or Mya or Britney, they can still carry a tune. Whereas Jennifer herself has admitted to being insecure about her singing. From Rolling Stone:

Who do you prefer in general: Jennifer Lopez or Mariah Carey?
Erase JLo from music and nothing would change. Mariah by far.

Amy Adams vs Jessica Chastain: Who has more talent?
Amy. Junebug, Enchanted, Arrival, The Fighter, Sharp Objects >>> Comedies, musicals, drama. She can do it all.

Biggest female legend after Beyoncé?
Your family doesn't determine who or who isn't a legend. Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee MARIAH CAREY was already cemented a legend before she had a perennial Christmas classic, which further extends her legacy. The "architect of modern pop's sound" who is the greatest living singer according to Rolling Stone is undoubtedly a legend.

J.Lo reigns as Romcom Queen amongst Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts & Reese Witherspoon
You knew what you were doing with that title and I decided to add additional data to the mix. Haters will be haters.

J.Lo reigns as Romcom Queen amongst Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts & Reese Witherspoon
All that and it still doesn't change the fact that Sandra reigns supreme with box office and critics for their latest rom-coms. I'm glad J.Lo reigns supreme according to this specific study for Parrot Analytics' Talent Demand score.

J.Lo reigns as Romcom Queen amongst Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts & Reese Witherspoon
You don't have to think it. You saying she reigns supreme amongst these rom-com stars suggests otherwise, especially when nothing of the sort is even mentioned in the original study you linked to. That study also takes into account social media, which JLo is all over, for better or worse. I'll take box office numbers, which shows who can put people's behinds into seats, over a study from Parrot Analytics.

BAFTA viewers fuming after Michelle Yeoh's snub
The fact that you're dismissing Danielle's critically acclaimed performance in a "lifetime tv movie looking movie" says all I need to know about you. There's a reason why BAFTA overhauled its nominating process and why there's backlash to all the winners being white.

J.Lo reigns as Romcom Queen amongst Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts & Reese Witherspoon
Your provocative title suggests that you wanted to make it seem like J.Lo won some sort of "competition" through this study, so I pointed out other factors such as box office numbers and critical acclaim -- which suggest otherwise.

BAFTA viewers fuming after Michelle Yeoh's snub
All the winners being white -- after they overhauled the nominating process -- is the bigger issue. https://www.vulture.com/2023/02/all-the-2023-bafta-winners-were-white.html

The Roof vs. Breakdown
Breakdown. The lyrics, the ad-libs, the flow, the video. Both top tier though.
