Why do Twitter gays hate Tate but love Addison so much?
Twitter Gay™️ here and tbh Tate is just boring. We're in the "personality era" of pop stars and I don't find her or her personality interesting AT ALL, then her music isn't good enough to make up for a lack of a personality like Beyoncé. Tate is an amazing dancer but whenever I see her perform she's dancing in a way that doesn't match the energy of the song, which I personally find annoying. Twigs, Normani and Tinashe are also dancers and the choreography always fits the song. She also always blends in with her dancers if they aren't all male, there's nothing distinctive about her look. For example, why is THAT the choreography for Sports Car? Why did she dip herself in gold at the end of her Lolla performance of it? It doesn't connect for me. But then, you have Tinashe in the Too Easy video slipping in and out of the choreography and playing to the camera, that fits the song because it's "too easy" for her! There's also nothing interesting or engaging about her visually. She looks very generic, isn't strikingly beautiful and lacks charisma. She also always looks bored to me. If I didn't know her and saw that CK ad she just did I would actually think she was just a random dancer, not a huge pop star.
- Madonna is collaborating with her No. IIs. Who should be next?

Yung Miami - Spend Dat
Songs like this blowing up are the reason why mainstream music sucks now. "It's terrible but catchy, so it's a hit" could describe 85% of music that's become successful since 2020.

Rochelle Jordan shades Charli: "It ain't dead until WE say so."
I'm a huge fan of both and this is so lame. Maybe Rochelle doesn't listen to Charli or probably didn't read the interview but Charli meant to HER it's dead. And it can be. She's been making electronic music since the early 2010s…..

Miguel - 'CAOS'
A journalist on Twitter said he had a completely different album two years ago that he heard and if he did he really should've released both as a double album. 8 years is too long of a wait for 30 minutes of music with no commercial hits no matter how excellent it is. He always delivers quality!

Nicki Minaj is broke! No music or tour earnings until 2029
I flat out don't believe an artist on the level of Nicki is broke or is stuck paying something off until 2029 like this. If she was she'd be putting in a lot more work to PAY OFF the debt. it's heavily rumored that Bruno Mars is broke. He's been touring and doing Vegas for years and somebody like Drake who was trying to get out of a deal quickly was dropping albums and touring consistently for the first half of the 2020s. Nicki could have her name attached to so many things or doing festivals but she isn't. She releases that album and did her tour, that was it.

What happened to the Smilers?
People have grown out of her musically and as a person that's still a fan of hers, switching genres every album and making less commercial music won't keep your core fans engaged.

Ravyn Lenae - "Love Me Not" + "Love Is Blind"
Ive been such a big fan of her I really hope she capitalizes on this moment and successfully reaches the mainstream! She's so talented, she deserves all the success. People need to get into HYPNOS too.

Kevin O'Leary urges Dems kick out AOC, says she "doesn't believe in American dream"
He's not even American so his opinion is IRRELEVANT. So annoying that IMMIGRANTS are involved allowed to be involved in our politics because they are white. I couldn't imagine a Latino, Asian or African being able to do this.

Lizzo has a meltdown on Twitter defending flop single
Her music is corny to me. There's no other way to describe it and then when you realize she's almost 40??? Yikes. There's no growth in her music and her trying to jump on "reclaiming Rock music" train when Beyoncé is doing it soon is so LAME. The last thing she should attempt doing is putting out a rock album when Beyoncé will drop one soon. It'll be even more embarrassing when her's is better reviewed and preferred by audiences.

Doechii is Billboard's Woman of the Year
She's got that Top Dawg payola! Her winning over Sabrina, Chappell or Charli is so bogus. And I agree, she's being forced onto the GP. I'm happy to see it though, I'm so tired of where female rap has been since Cardi B came on the scene.

Doechii is Billboard's Woman of the Year
I actually think Doja is set and shouldn't be threatened by Doechii's success at all. She's won awards and has the industry push but she hasn't had any REAL commercial success on the level Doja has had since 2020. Doja is set. If she comes back with bops for her next era she'll be set for success.

Is this why we don't have male popstars?
This take is half baked. we don't have any big male "traditional" pop stars currently because the industry machine hasn't found a new boy to do it with. Usher, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown and Bieber all started out as teens. They have to start out by getting that ravenous tween female fanbase while being young themselves. The other thing Marcia is leaving out is that most big pop stars in the past were brought to us by the industry. The industry isn't really creating stars anymore, just giving people who already have some popularity a deal. If no boy wants to do the work to set himself up as a pop star then we won't get any in the vein of Usher, JT, Bieber again.

Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR - '$OME $EXY $ONGS 4 U'
What I've heard so far isn't bad, just a few songs. I wonder if he'll address Kendrick at all on the album….i think that would be a big mistake.

Why is Rihanna more popular than Beyonce?
Rihanna makes HITS, so that's the reason her music will always be commercially popular. She's also an "it girl" and had a rockstar persona when social twitter and instagram were popping off. She's really one of the original OG IG baddies. Now that she's older, she's transitioned to being "relatable" without being cringey which is even more important in this new era of celebrity culture. Beyoncé's music is hit or miss and her celebrity persona is very far removed from everybody. We really know next to nothing about her. It makes her less interesting.

Khalid & Normani - "Personal"
Sounds promising! I wouldn't be surprised if they tour together next year. I just hope they do mid sized venues so it doesn't have a problem selling tickets. No arenas.
-
Lil Nas X - "Need Dat Boy"
I think he needs to work with new people. His lyrics + the production is just objectively bad. If Addison Rae can rebrand then I don't see how he can't!

Sega Bodega exposes Lil Nas X for copying his album shoot
LNX comes off as so unoriginal and uninspired. His music is objectively bad too. :/

Megan Thee Stallion - 'MEGAN: ACT II'
The way I know this won't be better than City Cinderella. JT had a concept!

Is Gaga bad at choosing scripts?
House of Gucci and her playing Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin's Joker sounded perfect on paper. House of Gucci had an ALL STAR cast and the first Joker made a billion dollars. It's not like she was bad in either film according to reviews either. #ItsNotHerFault

Normani - 'DOPAMINE'
At this point I think there's no budget so left for any kind of promotional tour. She's just trying to get it out to tour it and make some money back before moving onto her next project.

Dua Lipa - 'Radical Optimism'
I've been listening since I woke up this morning. It's fun but definitely not the back to back HITS that I would think she'd have on an album after her breakthrough. A few misses. I consider her the new Rihanna. I considered FN her GGGB and was expecting this to be her LOUD but it's really the equivalent of Rated R. Solid album but not a lot of commercial tracks.
