  1. Godlivia with an organic smash album and a chappell roan remix of "expectations" is about to boost it even more next week
  2. "Group of hits that will pass the test of time better" as if the 15 year old songs aren't still relevant while the group of "hits" from the last 12 months are remembered primarily for being from a terrible, cash-grab, ai-slop sounding album
  3. no serious person or culture critic would consider No. 1 "hits" like willow, Is It Over Now, Opalite, I Knew It I Knew You, and yes, Patient Zero, as particularly noteworthy. they did not capture the zeitgeist and people outside of the (massive) Swiftie bubble do not/will not remember these songs. a song like Is It Over Now will always fade in comparison with a Rihanna single that did not even reach #1 like Stay from the 2010's.

so was the woman in green Chloe Bailey or AI? which is it...
  6. obsessed with Cloud 9
  7. when Olivia wins Song of the Year with "The Cure" and Taylor goes all ballistic writing a stupid song about her "I heard you call me vapid when the lumpia got you brave"
  8. this woman was clearly taken advantage of… not by Jay Z — by the attorney that managed to conjure up and string together this deceitful "accusation" story to make some settlement cash, hoping Jay would just pay them off.
  9. she has been on a massive decline. she needs a break. folklore > evermore > midnights > TTPD > slopgirl > encore
  10. variants and such might have some effect but it all comes down to the QUALITY of the albums. Life of a Slopgirl is a nonevent for a majority of the "respectable adult" population.

but then she'll put out The Life of a Slopgirl (Live from Israel) next year
  12. when it's co-written by Ted Sjoren and fans figure out that's a pseudonym for Ed Sheeran
  13. yeah I heard it before no I don't particularly enjoy it, it's fine, very much "of the time" imo
  14. wishing her a speedy recovery
  15. they should have followed the Olivia Dean print and submitted her this year. even if she didn't win, a guaranteed BNA performance would familiarize the voters with her for the following year's ceremony.

I don't get your point? are you saying Beyoncé should have spoken out about it? this is tragic, but unfortunately, once Trump took office, we knew there would be consequences for that election (where Beyoncé very publicly endorsed Trump's opponent).

I agree that it's a slippery slope for artists to "speak up" about every issue in the world. People shouldn't look to pop stars for political analysis. Especially when Black artists are always held to a more rigorous standard, both by their fans and haters. However a genocide of this magnitude shouldn't be confused with minor political events. I sure hope when Bey felt generous for her birthday, she donated some $$$ to the humanitarian groups on the ground in Gaza as well.
  18. can't wait to go to CHURCH and pray

why can't he? he's filthy rich. all he had to do was stand up to the weirdos trying to cancel Macklemore and say "I'm not comfortable with you censoring my supporting act" and refuse to perform. he has leverage, the venues want his fans' money. instead he chose to watch them bully Macklemore and be a coward.
  20. Bieber Setlist What Do You Mean (ft. Ariana Grande) = = = Bieber exits stage = = = No Tears Left To Cry God Is a Woman Into You Break Free We Can't Be Friends The Boy Is Mine (ft. Brandy & Monica) Thank U, Next
  21. yes Tedward Sheeran there are too many wars. perhaps don't align yourself with the side that's keeping it going and bankrolling one?
  22. well, she's actually a lesbian. maybe if she were straight then the gays would embrace her as a "gay icon"
  23. how is this backhanded? Jay Z, one of the greatest rappers of all-time and Roc Nation founder, is saying that some folks he mentored forget who helped them get to where they are but Rihanna doesn't. are you aware that Rihanna is a Roc Nation artist?
