Is Taylor overhated or underhated?
Of all the injustices and shitty actors in the world, you should focus on this one: she is popular, both positively and negatively, so why not land yourself a nice clickbait over internet? She is actually powerless to fight back: what can a pop star really do to revenge? Not sending DOJ or secret service to hunt you, or a trillionaire w/ enormous wealth and platform, or a sub trillionaire owning multiple outlets… So congratulations for your smart choice of target of online activism?

Taylor Swift - “I Knew It, I Knew You”
A little underwhelming, to be honest: not worth the marketing around it
- Female artists with every studio album charting for over a year

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
Done caring about her numbers. Really wished she creating memorable/ captivating visuals with Opalite, but, oh well. Anyway, can she tries really hard with Father Feature? The song has the potential and she also showed her craft with Ophelia.

Hot 100 | Final predictions (11/8): Ophelia #1 (x4), Man I Need #5, Folded #7
All attentions are good attentions, all publicity are good publicity. Let them contribute, we love it!!!

H100: #1 The Fate of Ophelia (x3)
My goodness, I can literally envision OTHs pop their veins and foaming their mouths in past weeks. Want to extend my sympathy to all of them, because of all the dystopian scenes playing around the country and world, they couldn't even find a comfort zone, and have to vent constantly for a pop artist. OT: how can I turn on ignorance specific users? I am fully aware of creating my own bubble by doing this, but gosh, I am so tired someone making bad faithed arguments no stop, like do you seriously have a life outside of trolling?

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
Music is highly subjective and people grows and changes: totally normal to grow out someone's music that you used to like, no need to seek validation that you made the right decision. Trust and be yourself, Honey.

Btw, Max Martin is really fond of ad libs, is he?

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'

NYT: Gaga the popstar with the most fire; "would die for us" unlike Taylor, Beyoncé
Regardless of whether the title statement true or false: Who the ******* are the folks that expected a celebrity or some remote/unrelated person to die for you? What makes you to have such an entitled attitude, other than purely mantle illness?

Does Taylor need to set her views straight on Trump/Gaza/today's political issues?
Look, let's be real for a single second: Until Taylor Swift expresses an ACCEPTABLE view on a real world issue that we are having right now, that issue CANNOT be solved or work around! All the politicians and people in power are less ACCOUNTABLE than her. Also expressing disdain over internet is THE highest priority and MOST effective way to make a real change. Let't harness and cancel her, until her gives in!! /s

2024 US Election Megathread 🇺🇸🏛️
To all the social justice warriors on ATRL/Internet: if your goal is to win the next election/political fight, you need to expand your tent to include anyone finds it crazy of current dystopia world (who the **** to think it is acceptable to have masked ICE agents to charge people, drag people, break people's car window shield in literal broad daylight), instead of nitpicking everyone not following your perfect standard and drive them away Let me state the obvious: if you think that you can keep doing this nitpicking and somehow magically come to power and in a position to actually make a difference, you are STUPID

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
To anyone claiming that she shouldn't be insecure, and seek validation from critics, Grammy/peers, chart etc., let me ask you a question: in your social network/circle, do you prefer to deal with people that actually care about your opinion/feedback, or people don't give a **** of what you say and do whatever they want? PS: I post here to seek validation of my opinion, in case of anyone wondering: I am a human, not a robot that can stick to a perfect rule of objective and fully self-reliance. In fact, even robots can achieve this now, as they are still being programmed by human now, they can't escape the human fallacies

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
When anyone called me lovely, they were finding ways not to praise me, But you say it like you are in awe of me, And you stay until the morning, I feel this is her addressing to her detractors and fans directly. People can say that she is insecure and seeking validation from others, but can any of them freaking say in honesty that they never seeking validation from any one at all? We are all humans and social in nature, need validation from life, work, friends, fans, whatever they are.

How did you find out about ATRL?
Googling feedbacks for folklore, stumbling into the ATRL thread of it, tried persistently until a small window to join before evermore. Well, time flies by my fellow ATRLers

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
Billboard is so pathetic for not giving her separated articles for Billboard 200 and Hot 100 No 1 as usual, and that Keith guy is oppressed as usual to list the so called variants, LOL: simply because she keeps playing by their rules, and they simply can't tighten the rules further targeting her without significantly reducing every other artist's sales that making their chart a butt of joke. If I am the blondie, I would skip every single appearance of their Khia BBMA shows in future to stick it to them.

H100: Taylor occupies entire Top 12 / BB200: 'The Life of a Showgirl' #1 4.002M
Congratulations to TayTay to put out an album that many like or love, while breaking records left and right. Like many when introducing her: the one and only Taylor Swift. Or like her own sing: you will never meet one like ME!!

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
Trim down the do help her, I guess: though I absolutely love 6 songs, and more or less indifferent to the other 6, I don't feel the urge to skip them, as they all have some own highlight parts

143 vs. The Life of a Showgirl: better album?

Blondie was glowing on the Fallon show: "you are so gorgeous it actually hurts", lol
