In terms of investment, quality, and impact I would have to say Adele with Someone Like You. I feel like her performances at the 2011 VMAs and Brits were incredibly career defining for her, and helped to elevate her to another level.

I think Frozen gets the proper recognition as one of her best ballads and is number one imo, but I've always liked this one as a 2nd choice:

After hearing it for the first time, it would be a no for me. If you're looking for a perfect pop song from a lesser known artist I would go with Benedict Cork. I really enjoyed his whole album "Footnotes of a Hopeless Romantic", and my personal pick would be this one:

I'd like to see Last Christmas eventually break the record for most weeks at number one in the UK, so hopefully it regains its spot at the top. The record is currently held by Frankie Laine's 'I Believe' at 18 weeks and LC is currently sitting at 11 weeks total.

I hope so, that would be amazing! I am glad that it at least reached number 1 on the UK chart finally, and continues to do so each year. One way it could happen is if a current popular artist does a remix of it.
