As she was someone who was one of the most outspoken anti-Trump actors for the last decade, it's understandable she's reached this conclusion after her stumping for Kamala last year in Nevada did nothing. Trump really capitalized on the "Kamala is for the elite, I'm for you" with all the celebrities coming out for her last year, and she recognized that nothing she can say can persuade his supporters in this second term. I personally think the belief that celebs shouldn't speak on politics is stupid (because why is the opinion of Jim Bob with no degree in Idaho more valid than their's?), but it's a huge sentiment amongst the right right now. At least she's still outspoken about it and strives to use her production company to discuss politics. Fauxmoi is of course dragging her (that sub has really gone downhill) and there are people calling her MAGA on Twitter
