  2. the way I kinda hated this ddd and i'm a something beautiful truther! what the hell did i just listen to?
  3. this is kind of a gag girls... that pinkpantheress pen >>>
  4. Night devours Day it's not even funny Unfortunately, there's nothing in the leagues of Kollage or Psychedelic Switch on here imo (don't kill me but it's true), but everything is very consistent and makes for a beautiful listening experience. It does feel like a continuation from what she was building with The Loveliest Time, just less experimental and more streamlined into two direct moods, which is unsurprising considering the concept. She did a great job fleshing out both sides of the project. Day feels like what early Carly would've made if she had more budget lol. Night is obviously gay catnip with a few chill tracks interspersed at the end. Never Let a Good Thing Die, Amalfi Coast, Super Sage and Habits of Creatures were my faves on initial listen. Very excited to relisten and combine my faves upon repeated listens.
  5. this album sounds like she fell into the same mediocrity purgatory that Banks and Marina have been trapped in for the last decade... Tove sis what happened?
  6. That new Jhené Aiko album. Scarlet Something Beautiful Number 1 Angel SAWAYAMA Blue Lips STARFUCKER
  7. secured GA for amsterdam pretty effortlessly surprisingly? can't believe it's going to be my first time seeing the queen live
  8. Aquarius (and the mixtapes) really set the scene and helped shape modern alternative r&b. What a debut album, still easily one of my favourite debuts ever! I mean going from Cold Sweat to 2 On to Far Side of the Moon to Feels Like Vegas to Bated Breath… the range was always there!
  9. she better not skip her sweetener before her thank u, next
  10. I mean, sure, but I don't want a solely Max-produced album. If she has taste, she should book sessions with his protégés like the struts, elvira and luka, and also get tove lo in the writers room to serve sexy swede excellence.
  11. just a little bit of your heart -> hands on me -> my everything
  12. Yikes at so many users showing their ass in here. Censorship and blackballing over defending human rights isn't cute and never will be. Ed and O!nk are going to hell anyway, along with the people they're silently or vocally supporting with their actions. So scarily telling of how much power these people have that you can't even speak out against a genocide without some dusty wench panicking and gathering their evil billionaire friends to exile an artist out of a tour by force... props to Macklemore for speaking out when it costs basically everything for your career to do so (evidently).
  13. her best mixtape. front to back flawless. reverie we love you! also yeah in regards to why the mixtapes aren't out on streaming, I think I read on twitter (so take this with a grain of salt) that the main reason the mixtapes can't be commercially released is because it was stated in her RCA contract that the mixtapes could only be used for "promotional" purposes and releasing them for profit would be breaking that contract clause, which is why the only way she can get them out is probably by re-recording them.... so annoying.
  14. At this point it's kind of protocol for a Tinashe lead single to be polarizing asf. I still think if the rollout was handled better (video out on time, paid influencer dance challenge, some resemblance of playlisting, etc.) and the song was a bit longer people wouldn't be so bothered by it… Either way each single being better than the last and everything being so different makes the campaign more interesting to follow.
  15. they still haven't added the new songs to the album pre save page on spotify yet... can the label get it together and do their job properly for the love of god...
  16. girl get into her best song while ur at it
  17. still not over Atlantic just throwing her new album to the wolves after landing a smash like this. she deserves the world and her discography is soooo excellent already...
  18. her biggest hit being inspired by doja. i think i've seen this film before
  19. opening a chupa chups wrapper on the rare occasion i want a lollipop, i swear they make that **** impossible to open
  20. Agreed. Mandatory Tinashe streamings should be happening across the site as rehabilitation treatment!
  21. hmm. Might be an unpopular opinion but this is instantly her worst album. Like, why does everything sound the same? This was not worth the 6 year wait at all, really disappointed.
  22. I don't understand why she's so hellbent on putting those weird reverb(?) effects all over her voice... it made that Megan collab unlistenable to me and this is objectively a good song but it just makes it sound a bit muddy? someone needs to tell her to stop that
