speaking of RR bsides, I still can't believe Joy picked Bad Dracula of all songs for her queens archive selection truly a curveball considering how easy most of the others were to predict

did a discography binge for my girls earlier, and it's just crazy how consistently great they are overall obv a couple of duds here and there (mostly the Russian Roulette b-sides for me), but the fact that I was entertained for an entire 8.5 hour playlist is a testament to the overall strength of their material

what can I say, I love quirky velvet with dramatic brass

idk why they're even panicking - if it's street dated in their system, it can't be sold even if it's out on the floor. like the register will literally not allow you (hence the team member message on the touchscreen). when I worked there for a few years, I would occasionally have stuff like this happen when I was up at the front lanes and I'd have to tell guests that the system wont allow it. what happens is that the product is then moved off the sales floor and backstocked until the sale date. this is how those clothing collaborations there work too - we'd get them early and have to keep them in the back until the launch date, but every now and then someone who didn't know any better might accidentally take one out to the floor. this is also why I giggle when people talk worriedly about new albums being set out early - you'd have to actually steal it if it's something with a release date besides, as you mentioned, this album is literally already out so who ******* cares if someone put the vinyl out early. it's not like it's a leak

even if we stick to Korean platforms, Supernova has been parked at #1 on melon and circle for like a month + it keeps getting PAKs even after newjeans released, and Armageddon isn't too far behind How Sweet/Bubble Gum on the charts there either like obviously the public loves newjeans, but they clearly love aespa too

Rosalia collab CONFIRMED

Chappell has HOT TO GO! and Red Wine Supernova quickly growing on the Hot 100, and those two are ahead of Sabrina's older songs on Spotify US. Chappell's album also has more songs charting on iTunes + it's well above Sabrina's on Apple Music as a whole it's not like Sabrina is flopping - her album is rebounding but Chappell's just has more in its favor commercially atm
