cloudbusting

not that it's news, but this interview really just makes her sound stupid as hell. wish they'd push back against her nonsense even more, but the mentions we did get of unfounded claims and people refusing to comment on her conspiracies gave me a good giggle

the way gumbo variants are probably coming before new music

hoping this opens some doors for The Deep and at least gives her more opportunities as a writer

the way i still have ptsd from trying to get back to my hotel after the final RWT show... an absolute shitshow

both kinda behind the pop music curve when they came out (HC being late to that Neptunes/Timbaland wave and ARTPOP coming with that maximalist sound as trends were shifting down), but i have more of a sentimental attachment to ARTPOP even if it's grown off me a bit over the years.

beautiful choices, I just feel that BIGGER also works well thematically with the idea of being part of something more than oneself. a perfect message before launching into Renaissance which has that underlying narrative of reclamation and liberation

Xtina was able to be introspective and release a mature and occasionally adventurous album after tanking into oblivia (), but Katy lacks the perspective to drop her own Liberation.

anyway since we're talking about The Gift, let me once again say that the opening ballad segment for RWT should've closed with BIGGER

well she'd put Toucan Sam on a real album a decade prior already

i mean it's more than non-existent, but "decent" is a HUGE stretch. this is literally Madison Beer-level promo, except she actually managed to scrape together coins for some tv performances

Sean Cody Simpson

special mentions to Slayyyter's $T. LOSER and Jessie Ware's Don't You Know Who I Am?

the music that starts as an english version/is aimed at a broader global audience just tends to be less good imo even her mindless bops in spanish flow better melodically to me

the "Beyoncé doesn't know what the working class feels" discourse surrounding that line in BMS was already annoying, can't imagine how much dumbass noise a full 9 to 5 cover would generate imo she should've done one of Dolly's disco bops like Baby I'm Burnin, Star of the Show (very fitting), or I Wanna Fall In Love to weave in some of that Rennie energy (and pick something a little less obvious), but i'm also a big sissy so

now that's a 10 if there ever was one

Jay when she beats his boochie up with her strap-on

the people exposing their lack of taste with their tired "who?" jokes but whatever, love this collection of powerful talented queens

when she gets tired of all the theorizing and decides to cancel the album altogether YOU are the visual horse's ass, baby

nvm i changed my mind. with this hantavirus ship situation, she absolutely would drop an album since there's a built-in excuse to not do any kind of promo

it's bad enough that i sometimes have to skip through yall tugging on my other fave's wig (Nurtec lady), but now we're reporting on rumors about the errors tour "performer"… my suffering is unending, might as well stream Daddy

and when the Thursday announcement is just a new limited edition met themed cecred travel bundle, then what

securing the funding for album #2 iktr! kpop b!tch was such a fun and brash project, she's really found a great niche for herself over the years. happy she's also making some money now too

anyway AAAAAAHHHH GOD VELVET THIS FALL

this is like the second time I've seen a kpop act get booked at that casino (think hyolyn performed there last year) and it makes no sense to me. it's like 2.5 hours from the biggest city actually in Oklahoma and only about 1.5 from Dallas, but Durant is NAWT a destination town by any means. It's also not off a main interstate, just a smaller state highway, so it's not even convenient to get to
