see, for me the only song where the changes feel jarring is HGCV. they flow well imo on stuff like Surfin Boy, but the start/stop in HGCV is just... a bit much? like just when i start to vibe with a section there's a pause and it throws me off.

Hot Girls Cold Vibe is one of their weirdest songs and i'm not entirely sure if that's a compliment or not. i say this even as an Attaboy defender

Surfin Boy's bridge is gorgeous, and i looooove that bit leading into the final chorus where most of the production drops out so it's just main & bg vocals before it all comes back such a smart way to let it all breathe a bit and pack a final punch Orchestra is also BEAUTIFUL; figured it was gonna be my fave the second the sample rumors were proven true with that one teaser, but hearing the whole thing is just heavenly

Church Gworl's only sin is simply being a 9 in a sea of 10s, same with POTS i think both would be viewed more fondly on other albums, but the competition on Rennie is just THAT fierce and for the inevitable AUIYM slander when people (incorrectly) try to say it's not a 10: suck my entire ass
