Headstrong vs V: Better debut album?
I always wonder why V debuted with such a low number as HSM smashed in 2006. Anyway, both albums ended up having similar US total sales though. As a kid, I loved Headstrong as I replayed the album for more than a thousand times. I often danced to some tracks with my friends. But now I appreciate V a lot more because it sounds more refreshing and mature to me. Besides, Say OK is definitely one of the defining songs for 2000s to me.

Meghan Trainor - 'Toy With Me'
What's worse, it seems that the album also missed Billboard 200 completely… It only debuted at No.13 on the US sales chart. Edit: it debuted at No.198 on Billboard 200, better than never. Epic should've released Shimmer as a single earlier after Still Don't Care peaked on pop radio.

Taylor Swift - “I Knew It, I Knew You”
Probably a new single or more for the Toy Story 5 soundtrack. I'm still hoping for a re-recording for the self titled album anyway.

Best year of music in the 2000s [2000-2009]?
It's so hard for me to choose as 2000s is my favorite decade (not only just for music). I ended up selecting 2008 as my favorite, because it is the year when I really started to follow and then love music. It really means a lot to me. Apart from that, so many big names had new music out that year, like Mariah, Janet, Madonna, Taylor, Miley, Demi, Usher, Beyoncé, Britney, Jonas Bros, Rihanna, Xtina, Jessica, Nickelback and so on. Gaga, Katy and Adele also broke out that year with fabulous debuts. All that I mentioned above is just a piece of what I can think about in the moment and there was actually so much more in 2008. So that year was really like a kaleidoscope for me, so colorful and fresh. 2003 is probably my least favorite one. The only reason is that too many hip hop songs were out there and I'm not really into the genre.

Meghan Trainor - 'Toy With Me'
It doesn't even show up in the final top 50 on HDD… That's a major letdown for Meghan.

Meghan Trainor - 'Toy With Me'
Probably no, I once read from one of her fan accounts on X that she renewed her contract with Epic after Timeless era.
