  1. I agrih. It just doesn't make sense that ads can sometimes cover over half of my phone's screen when visiting the site, and I can't even click on an "x" to close them fully, just push down to a mini-bar at the bottom that still takes screen space. If the site relies so much on ad revenue to run, at least don't make the ads so intrusive that people are pushed to ad blockers instead of tolerating them to help the site.
  2. Just a couple of Zionists and people who played ~the devil's advocate~ for Israel at the beginning of the Gaza genocide or/and the genocide-enabling Democratic leadership
  3. While I don't want it completely banned per se, I find a lot of its uses lately to be... questionable. Even if its by our own community. The downright homophobic and genuinely hateful way it is used by some of our community sometimes is too ******* much. For example, I see too many people from our community use it that way during discussions surrounding gay men's misogyny (and I'm sorry, but the "gay men are more misogynistic than even straight men" takes are ******* insane). One deranged post by some random, gay Twitter user and suddenly gay men are the worst women haters on the planet and need to be exterminated. It also gives me the sense that it allows people who are not queer but feel too comfortable in our spaces and/or hide behind the "ally" label to either support such hateful views or use the slurs themselves. Just NO.
  4. Hezbollah officially enters the picture. They're taking heavy hits, don't know what their strategy is.
  5. Interceptions in Abu Dhabi (lol) and unverified reports of explosion sounds over Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Iran threatened that it'll be a regional war, and they're really doing it. Sorry if I'm being annoying, but I can't help myself frantically writing all of that when I'm living in the middle of this. Bear with me y'all
  6. Interception in Qatar, unverified reports of explosions in Bahrain + Israeli strikes in Iraq. Also continuous sirens in different parts of Israel for an hour or more. In June's war, Iranian response took almost a whole day, but this time it took mere hours. No idea how this will last, since Israeli and American forces are almost certainly targeting missile launchers + stockpiles as well. But it is telling that a) Iran responded by targeting Israel first and b) they seemed more ready to respond and c) they're launching more continuously. I just wish for the safety of civilians. All this fuckery for the purposes of benefitting Netanyahu's regime and pockets of American capitalists. ****.
  7. People deadass not liking it because they find it too "passive-aggressive" and/or expecting a well-detailed report on every reaction to their post Get a grip y'all
  8. Unofficial reports of US emptying its bases across the Middle East. I do not miss the days of the 12 Days War. Even if whatever military moves eventually turn out to be mere "theatrics" (like the Iranian response to the American strikes on its nuclear facilities) for the sake of pressuring Iran into sitting on the ~negotiation table~ under more favorable terms to the Americans/+Israelis, the prospects for a more serious confrontation is ******* scary as someone who lives in the region
  9. Supporting Iranian people's right for freedom, not trusting any of the **** coming out of Western media, and not trusting a militarized Western intervention are all not mutually exclusive. Sorry not sorry. Over two whole years of ******* genocide against Palestinians and Western media either excusing, ignoring, or waiting to report on massacres until its too ******* late. I'm not trusting **** coming from Western media, let alone downright evil ass Twitter(!!!) accounts that celebrated some of the most heinous of Israel's crimes against humanity. OSINT Defender... "two sources say"... be ******* for real. What are we even doing here. It's like the past two years didn't teach some of you anything. Even if the 12-20,000 number is real (which, I wouldn't necessarily deem it unrealistic with the current regime and level of blackouts its imposing withing Iran), there is no reason for me to believe that Western media is reporting it for anything other than manufacturing consent for a military intervention. And why is it such an odd idea that American and Israeli forces are tacitly intervening in the protests? Official Israeli accounts and some figureheads are flaunting that idea left and right, with American politicians doing the same. Israel absolutely humiliated Iran in the 12-day war with the amount of agents doing work for them on the ground INSIDE Iran. Is it such a crazy idea that Israeli cells, let alone American ones, are actively hijacking the protests and creating a mess that makes a militarized Western intervention "necessary" in the eyes of the global community? Pointing all of this out is not some "black and white privileged Western leftist thinking!!1!!111".
  10. A fellow top, how big is ur cawk king Let's foot fight since I'd lose a sword one Mine is big and wide (size 47-48)
  11. You're so ******* boring bro. No one here is defending Maduro or his regime. They're literally just telling you that you should not be hopeful anything good would come out of American intervention, when historically almost every single American intervention is there for you see for yourself what kind of bullshit and ruin it left many countries in. It's all out there for you see and read about. Yet you insist on the imaginary "omg these evil commies r defending Maduro " talking point. Learn how to ******* read and comprehend what you're being told.
  12. 35% favorable of Israel somehow feels uncomfortably high tbh Like, I know where that support is coming from, but idk. I hate people.
  13. The legend you are for reminding me of BL
  14. As much as I agree with some other users that you have relationship anxiety and some... "trauma" that you need to see a therapist for (the whole witnessesing cheating all your life thing)... I would be lying if I say that my heart would drop seeing what obviously was more than a just "fwb" situation. Clearly feelings were involved, and I would feel insecure as hell too that they continued to text even after being made official. "I really really really like you" and supposedly moving on because the other guy didn't want a relationship at the time? And the other guy clearly having had feelings for your bf too but was just not ready for a relationship for whatever reason? I would be super uncomfortable too with them still texting like that if I knew AT THE TIME, and I sympathize you feeling anxious even now, 4 months after the fact. You're probably thinking if you were someone he "settled with," and if he would jump off the ship the moment the fwb says he's ready for a relationship. Maybe they'd hookup again the moment you two break up. Who really knows. It's a complicated situation. You obviously would have trouble asking him some of the important questions (like "did you simply settle with me?") that you need to ask for some clarity and peace of mind, all because of the breach of privacy thing. But also think this clarity and peace of mind would never come with just that, there are issues and questions that need to be addressed with a therapist no matter what. Maybe start with the therapist, and that would help you figuring out how to approach asking your boyfriend the important questions that need to be asked. A therapist would be infinitely more useful than any ATRLer advice here. Just don't overthink about going to see one. Just do it. Go see a therapist.
  15. Iran launched the response for today mere few minutes ago. We don't habe shelters near by, but we can only hope for the best. All of this bullshit just to keep that fucker and his genocidal regime in power.
  16. The instrumental had a lot of potential tbh. If only they tweaked it a bit and actually gave a **** about the lyrics, it might've been a hit.
  17. Demons. Literally nothing else to say. The (normal) human mind truly cannot fathom such devilish blood lust. And the Israeli rightoids celebrating the photos and videos of dead children... what the **** is there to say anymore.
  18. What would you do if when you okay so he said yes would go?
  19. Strongly disagree on the opinion that Disease is better. This one is much more interesting, both song and video. The post-chorus is my least favorite part of the song tbh (the "Abracadabra, abracadabra Feel the beat under your feet, the floor's on fire" part), but other than that it's much better than Disease for me.
  20. Like a poem said by a lady in red You hear the last few words of your life With a haunting dance, now you're both in a trance It's time to cast your spell on the night Best part of the song idc
