Madonna - 'CONFESSIONS II'
the part where she's talking I can almost here the 'heard it all before' refrain muffled under her! but it also might just be in my head. God this album is so fun to pick apart, it has so much going in every song!

Madonna - 'CONFESSIONS II'
I couldn't find the answer elsewhere so figured I'd ask here; Is 'Sorry' from Confessions 1 very briefly interpolated at the beginning of Fragile or am I imagining things

Lady Gaga - "Shape of a Woman" (from 'The Devil Wears Prada 2')
I can see why she kept this off the Mayhem tracklist.

Mariah Carey - 'Here For It All'
It's very E=MC to me in its vibe, which is disappointing because Caution had her pushing herself and making some interesting choices. This album feels idk very safe for her I guess. But I've only listened once when I first woke up so opinions might change. My Love caught my ear the most randomly, kinda wish she put out I Won't Allow It in place of TD cause it would've made for a more interesting vibe that'd have gotten me more excited for the era. Very surprised about the glowing reviews but that's not me knocking the album. I just mention it to say that I miss when people were being paid to write thoughtfully about music instead of it just being another promo arm cause this is a very interesting moment in Mariah's career. But hey ho, a Mimi album that's mid is still higher quality than the standard pop/rnb release these days so I'll take it and be happy. Also glad it's not a 20+ track album. Even if I don't love it on first listen I appreciate seeing an artist edit down and go against the algorithm brain.

Lady Gaga - "The Dead Dance"
It's kind of awful but hope the spooky season floats it to the top for her.

Xtina's cameo in the new Adéla's music video
At least we have Christina's voice on record for a song and not a promo for once I know she prefers putting out an album as a musical package but I really wish she'd do more features and some throwaway singles in between albums. It's not like she promotes her album for more than exactly one week anymore, she could at least give her core base more sounds to tide them over that attached to some random soundtrack. but tbh I'm convinced Xtina lowkey quit the industry and only popping back in for quick private gig cash injections in between her kids recitals or whatever. I really wonder if she likes making music anymore. I wish she'd just announce that she's semi retired to set expectations. I wouldnt even be mad, she's been moving that way since bionic anyway.

Mariah Carey - 'Here For It All'
It's kinda like Never Too Far and Fly Like a Bird were mashed up

Mariah Carey - 'Here For It All'
- Mariah Carey, Shenseea & Kehlani - "Sugar Sweet"
It's a bit repetitive sounding for me. I don't hate it but there's an element of it that kinda feels like the music that plays in between Love Island and Real Housewives scenes. Probably will grow for me once I'm listening to it in sequence but not really reaching for seconds atm.- Recording artist P!nk reposts more pro-Israel propaganda on her Instagram story

All silence does is abate the cultural discourse from moving the conversation forward into measurable action. People have been silence about their opinions on Palestine and Israel for DECADES creating a culture that looked away because the conversation was too uncomfortable, or frankly, considered too much of a risk to ones own career and reputation. Silence will only add years to the current reality and ways of being - and regardless of who or what you support no one wants the current state of affairs to continue on. Talking about it is like the only real power anyone who isn't an upper level government official has to influence the outcome. Pink came out as a zionist. I am not a zionist but we now know this and can choose to engage with her work accordingly. This has also forced her millions of fans to look at this issue without an out of not having an opinion. Also everyone's minds are impressionable, continuous different experiences shape different ways of being from birth to the moment of respective end. People should be better about changing their minds based on new information - a lack of exposure to other people's opinions and experience is what directly led us to this moment. 'Impressionable minds' is just a rhetorical tool to make the listener think of a theoretical perspective that doesn't actually exist in any real, tangible or relevant way. It seeks to limit any commentary, critique or challenge to a conservative status quo intimidated by how talk hinting at a need for change can reflect on it, or push it out of its comfort and standing in the hierarchy. I encourage you to consider who the perspective you shared is ultimately benefitting- and to maybe reflect on instances as a youth (or someone in a situation where you were underestimated) you knew you were capable of processing/doing more than those around you gave you credit for. Also, Thorgy was right.- Somebodys getting fired!!! Beyonce's cable malfunctions while she's in the air!!!
TBH every tour has just as many malfunctions if not more. Beyonce's more scrutinised than other performers so every concert where something goes wrong it becomes a trending topic. I think it's less an issue of her tour team and more everyone fine tooth combing every single stop and putting it up on tiktok. That said glad she's safe, and even MORE glad that the crowd around her when she landed wasn't ******* crazy and gave her some space.- Austin Wolf pleads guilty to CP and sex crime, facing 10 years to life in prison
Now do all those guys running the ince-st studios cause it feels like that's inevitable right- Scott Storch finally addresses Xtina feud + relationship
Who is this?- Mariah Carey - "Type Dangerous"
It is kinda weird that the most movement you see from her in the video is as a cartoon. It feels weirdly very POSE, even for Mariah. It kinda looks like her face is super imposed on someone else's in certain parts; like the 'you're too fast' moment.- Mariah Carey - "Type Dangerous"
The video is giving MarAIh :/- Mariah Carey Live: The Mimi Sessions
I wish she'd just let go of the corset on stage because it can't be helping her breath control. But cute performance- Mariah rehearses in China with lipped vocals from Vegas
I wish she'd just tour with a pianist and just sit next to them bantering singing manageable snippets but mainly spending time telling us some life and songwriting stories. We loved her book promo run, she obviously never liked performing to an audience live much so just do something different and focus on her songwriting and personality. No one is buying Mariah tickets for the vocal anymore.- Ariana Grande - 'eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead'
IDK how much of a push this deluxe will get but if she's gonna do more Feature remixes she should call Xtina for Dandelion tbh- Lady Gaga - 'MAYHEM'
Good album! Cohesive but varied. At times it feels like she's reheating nachos with some songs but I'm not mad at it cause they taste good. Tracking all the different inspirations was fun though, some I didn't expect. Perfect Celebrity is a fun Garbage via the filter of Gaga and I can see why it's a highlight for so many. Shadow of a Man is surprisingly my favourite on first listen, it's one of those perfect pop songs that's just an instant ear worm. And she sounds great on it! Killah is one of those that doesn't grab me on first listen but I know on repeat it'll be my favourite 3 months from now. Blade of Grass is probably her best album ballad, to me. There's something about it very familiar, I hear a bit of Golden Slumber/Carry That Weight in it along with something else I can't quite place. The Beast wasn't my favourite but I enjoyed her voice on it. Something about her delivery felt Xtina at points. Don't Call Tonight listening to I kept thinking if this was meant to be Telephone 2 but it didn't happen. I'm sure everyone mentioned Alejandro as well, but I don't mind that it's so similar. LoveDrug feels like the hit waiting to happen. Something about its hook is VERY familiar though; can anyone identify what I'm thinking of? the 'I don't wanna feel, I don't wanna cry, I just wanna...' part? How Bad Do U Want Me was def written for Joker 2 right? The second half of the album is generally stronger for me.- Florence breaks foot on stage: Postpones sold out UK Tour
She should do less choreography- AGUILERA is 7x nominated to Latin Grammy & 2x Grammy Anglo
Queen of minding her business and thriving.- Beyoncé - 'RENAISSANCE'
Lmao, she really gave the gays two note app tweets and a photoshoot for this album.- Xtina’s Bitterness
She's literally not talked about her negatively in like two decades?- Beyoncé - 'RENAISSANCE'
Why are the visuals on the Normani schedule? Are there just ... none? Did she put it in a love song it? IDK, it feels weird that the album that's paying tribute to the queers is getting this kinda rollout. I guess the acts of it all will make it make sense in retrospect, but I don't like that it feels like a maybe atm. They're not holding Renaissance parties globally. I suppose it might be more complicated, like a delay in whatever deal she's trying to place the seemingly filmed visuals. Or Netflix is holding it for something. Waiting until some kind of event like her birthday might be why I guess. If this is a multi album thing I can see it being held to near the release of the second part. IDK what's going on, but mother. The kids are confused! We were promised the full Beyonce experience! - Mariah Carey, Shenseea & Kehlani - "Sugar Sweet"
