After glitching and breaking just about every iTunes chart around, Friends has officially hit #1!!! Yet another major Thursday release. Interested to see whether he released it Thurs hoping it wouldn't go #1 stopping Despacito but I guess we'll find out!

Apparently its for longevity down the rode and to stand out from other releases according to a Billboard article on it but it still doesn't make tons of sense for me especially as a big artist.

maybe he wants Despacito to break the record. cuz if friends debuted at #1 it'd fall the following week and also break Despacito's streak
