Billboard and YouTube streams

Featured Replies

I've seen several posts on how songs chart peaks and streams are getting messed up not counting YouTube, such as Ariana Grande's Petal getting 15m+ streams the first week and Shakira's Dai Dai getting 10m+ a week, Ariana's being more local to the US. Petal probably would've went top 2/3 and Shakira top 10.

Is this frustrating to you? YouTube MAY not be as big as it was before, but think about, that's how people mainly watch music videos still, so there may never be another viral music video hit again

Today, my girlfriend's heavy periods triggered me the most.

I agree, I think YouTube is still important especially for measuring streams outside the US.

How much does Wallen miss out on?

Anyway YouTube streams, as well as any other stream, should contribute either towards an albums units or towards a songs units, not both. So I'm fine with them not being included anymore.

I only hear about YT becoming less popular on here. YTM is currently growing faster than Apple Music:
