This is likely the real reason. It's a TV show. They give awards to people that are committed to the show. I also get the feeling there's payola involved. Pay up, get a good spot, noms and a performance.

i bet if asked Kylie would love to record a couple lines for the song. It would push it to #1 for sure. Kylie being involved in another #1 would excite her base.

It's because that's what people are listening to. Why listen to the same songs over and over again when you can discover hits from other decades? I love exploring old music.

Who would have thought that a song with Kylie would become a bigger hit than a song with Sabrina. Congrats. I could see them winning best dance recording. Seeing them accept a Grammy together would be an iconic moment.

DWAS sounds like a Bruno song, but Gaga enhanced the song. It's a great song regardless of who people want to credit. This new song is mediocre. It sounds like a sappy love song that belongs in a movie.

This sounds great, it still needed to be tweaked a bit, but it has a lot of potential. Hopefully one day its finished and released.

True global hits this big are rare for everyone. Even a moderately successful English song is fine for Shakira.
