Are ATRLs modern day Plato?

Featured Replies

A recently deciphered papyrus revealed that in his last hours Plato had a slave girl playing music for him and he spent his last moments criticizing her performance.

This reminded me of my fellow atrl sisters. Does that make us modern day Plato?

Despite battling a fever and being on the brink of death, Plato – who was known as a disciple of Socrates and a mentor to Aristotle, and who died in Athens around 348BC – retained enough lucidity to critique the musician for her lack of rhythm, the account suggests.

Yes, in the sense that Plato was also in the bath houses getting his Plussy wrecked by toga trade.

Let's just I think an ARTLer could come up with "The measure of a man is what he does with power," but I don't think Miss Plato could come up with an analysis of Britney's "Slumber Party"…

Art or just content shaped by hype and algorithms? Maybe we need less stan wars and more honest appreciation for what truly deserves artistic recognition, instead of automatically praising everything. This is probably something Plato would say today gaycat5

What's your take? Express yourself. If you believe ai makes art less valid, should we go back to creating everything without computers?
