I agrih. It just doesn't make sense that ads can sometimes cover over half of my phone's screen when visiting the site, and I can't even click on an "x" to close them fully, just push down to a mini-bar at the bottom that still takes screen space. If the site relies so much on ad revenue to run, at least don't make the ads so intrusive that people are pushed to ad blockers instead of tolerating them to help the site.

the mods have no control over the ad placement so either use an ad blocker or dont use the site

I've been on atrl for over 2 decades and I have never gotten ads up till this year and it's fuckin ridiculous.

None of us can escape it now

so on my phone I only use atrl on BRAVE all my other sites still naturally on chrome but I have to change apps to view this site now.

Then pay for the server sis

If you don't want ads maybe donate to the site and they can make it ad-free.

Though I do agree they can be aggressive, especially on mobile.
