6pm reservation at Joanne Trattoria near Lincoln Center. We started with drinks. My brother-in-law found a baby cockroach in his Old Fashioned while looking for the cherry (which wasn't there). We quietly showed the bartender who made it. No apology, just "Oh no, I'll remake that."

Trying to move past the drink incident, we ordered truffle fries and calamari. They took 45 minutes to show up. Fries were just okay. The calamari was almost entirely batter with maybe four thin pieces of squid.

All four of us ordered chicken entrees. None came with pasta and we were told it had to be ordered as a side. The one side pasta ordered didn't arrive until after the meal was finished (after asking for it twice).

When the bill came, the cockroach Old Fashioned was still on it. And $13 for the side of plain pasta.

Total for 4 people, 4 drinks, 4 entrees, and 2 apps was $325 before tip. We still left $50.

The food was run of the mill Sysco products that tasted like any basic pizza shop "entree" in NYC.

I asked to speak with a manager and her response was a repeated "I understand", but she couldn't care less. No solution, no apology.

We didn't realize this place had a Lady Gaga connection until we saw the memorabilia everywhere. Unfortunately it feels like there's a definite "Gaga tax" built into the prices, without the service or food to justify it.

Again…SHAME!

"Re-read the report today. The INSPECTOR States 'I observed 3 Dead American Cockroaches'. How did he know? They were dead and not talking."
