I've long been a fan of Anitta and last year I watched her Netflix documentary. In the doc she talks about how her nose is her biggest insecurity because in high school students would make fun of her and say her nose was too big. She said that when she'd walk into a room the students would put their heads down and say they needed to hide from her because of it. It made her insecure her entire life and as noted in other ATRL posts about her, she underwent 3 nose jobs before the age of 30.

Recently, I saw one of her promo reels for her new song and noticed very obvious rippling and scarring near her ear, as well as the fact that once again, her nose is completely different... she clearly underwent not only a 4th nose job this year, but also a facelift... keep in mind that Anitta is only 32. One of the major risks of getting a facelift so young is over-stretching to the point the skin near the incisions becomes distorted.

She was honestly beautiful just how she was, and I'm afraid that she's going down the path where by time she's 40 she's going to have erased her beauty - even now, this new facelift has completely changed her. Her ethnic features are gone, the facelift is so tight that the definition from her cheekbones has disappeared, and her eyebrows are pulled back to the point they look stuck. There should be a serious conversation about the medical malpractice of continuing to operate on people that have obvious body dysmorphia. The more nose jobs a person gets, the more fragile their nose becomes and if she continues at this rate, her nose is going to collapse as she ages. I'm hoping that maybe she'll start looking more like her old self once the new surgeries settle, but the fact that she looks like a different person/ethnicity now is really making me sad. She seems like a lovely person and it's a shame she does not see the beauty in herself that others see.

I think that's a common misconception though... She pretty much looked the same 2017-2024 and seems to have started making drastic changes the moment she turned 30. I just hate it when celebrities fall into PS addiction.

Plastic surgery addiction and insecurity isn't a good combo. Hopefully, she will find peace with her looks.

Also, she should leave her nose alone. After 3-4 nose jobs, she's increasingly putting herself at risk of getting necrosis, where the nose basically dies.

She was prettier before. Seems like she needs a therapist instead of a plastic surgeon. Good luck to her.

The numerous procedures aren't "normal", like maybe she undergone a bad one and had to do more than what she planed to fix it? Who knows. She always seemed so comfortable in her skin and back in 2016 she was at her peak beauty imo, no need to change anything.

The way I don't see this energy when there's a thread titled "Anitta debuts new face"...

She is consistently made fun of for her alterations just as Cardi and Lil' Kim are. When a celebrity feels the need to get this much done it is sad to see, especially when they've made disclosures about being bullied for their natural appearance.

I agree that some of these procedures are not needed, but that's what makes her happy and she's pretty open about it. And the last nose job actually was good, it looks more normal than the last botched nose job and she fixed it.

if you were really worried about someone with body dysmorphia you wouldn't continue to hyper scrutinise and draw attention to their looks under the guise of "concern". it only serves to reinforce the social pressures that make people dysmorphic in the first place, especially when one of your main concerns is the loss of her beauty and her no longer looking the way you prefer
