Not completely sure about it, tbh, because APT is still huge, but I've heard more Jennie songs in the wild and across different countries.

Jennie is IT. Plus she has a musical vision. That album was amazing.

Rose had one fluke hit (and thanks to Bruno for making it a smash). Her artistic vision is basically being the Asian Taylor swift.

Lisa could be the biggest of them all if she went the Tate McRae route of a dancing pop diva and but the lack of vision led to that mess of an album. So she's lost thay momentum.

Jennie has the potential to actually be a full fledged force in the Western market. Not only does she incorporate the right tricks K-pop does but actually also has Western pop sensibilities. Ruby could effortlessly slot into a Western popgirl release. Not only that but her visuals are sickening, her energy as a live performer clearly excels in the West, she clearly has a vendetta against performing well for her Asian/Korean fans though. Ruby was a massive improvement from the other 3's debut releases, genuinely a good album with strong hip-hop/pop/r&b sensibilities without bordering into cultural appropriation territory.

Rose is just... boring. Unless she treads on the Olivia print of pop punk/rock she'll forever be stuck as a wayyyy weaker version of Gracie Abrams. Where Gracie excels at is vivid and VERY catchy emotional ballads which is absolutely a core tenet of the Taylorprint, Rose tries to follow that but it clearly NEVER sticks the landing. Most of her melodies are forgettable and her lyricism is not as vivid as Gracie, Olivia, how much more peak Taylor. Her brand of pop on rosie is also all over the place, its atmospheric pop but has none of the punch of a Taylor record. All in all, she's very safe but LACKS the depth other 'safe' artists use to excel.

Lisa has the diligence and the industry backing but clearly NEEDS something like RIhanna's A&R team. That woman can NOT control her musical vision unless she wants to crash and burn. You can expect her to serve a 10 in live performance always (if u ignore terrible singing) BUT she absolutely can only be a radio musician, she's meant for Top 40 domination, give her a TEAM that knows what bops and what flops!

Thats Jennie and Lisa. Jennie is from Korea then moved to NZ for like 10 years before returning to Korea for training. Lisa is Thai.

Roseanne's first language is English. She came to Korea as a preteen and spoke English first. Its not a language issue.

Neither can match Lisa in terms of the songs' quality and versatility. The other two (actually three) members' songs are generic and, in my opinion, boring and forgettable. And let's not even compare the Korean members to Lisa the performing artist and visual artist. Come on.

Btw, each of the Blackpink members has just ONE solo album. Only three released full albums. Lisa stated several times she was working on finding her sound. Having left the super weird Korean label, she was finally allowed to create and experiment with her music. How about we give her (and the other members) more time to grow as artists?

Rose has the hit but Jennie has the career. she is not only stable but on an upward trajectory in all aspects. Rose is one single away from 'why did X flop?' threads. she could still have a smash era but her taste in music is so boring, i don't trust her at all.
