i was going to say it was annoying coming here and seeing yall asking a 41 year old mother of three to give you chem sex songs when she's always been about soulful-like music. she has yet to miss. all her albums including GH are phenomenal and she doesn't owe us nothing. she releases what she wants and what she feels comfortable and we accept it because artists always make great music when they listen to themselves and not their annoying overly demanding fans.

Her most classy record to date, methinks. Will probably end up being her third best, after her two undeniable masterpieces (Devotion, WYP?).

Really strong and well executed overall. "Diva" suits her way better than "T!FG!" camp.

I know for a fact this album will give a beautiful live show. The songs are so good and they have such a magical energy to them. Mother did that. Once again.

I think I know what I want the next record to be: far more synth and electronic and kind of blue and crooner-y. I feel excited about where I go next.

Which is what she made until Lift You Up was dragged She was telling fans in her newsletter when that dropped she was finishing her album.

I think she knows a lot of fans would love a switch up next, and electronic moody R&B/house would be sooooo perfect for her.

Well if it should sound like Lift You Up its good she canceled it, cause it was such a pastiche mediocre track with absolutely nothing original
