    Cause I want peace

  • Because it hurts, the neverending cycle of meeting someone new, imagining, projecting, dreaming, only to realise he is just another man in the end. And the cycle repeats, and Im never loved the way I

The thought of having another person around me 24/7 is exhausting. I love being alone most of the time because I can just do my ****. I have friends I can talk to and apps that I can use to satisfy ot

This. I'll never understand how some people come out of 4-6 dates with a new partner. At the same time if my own feelings don't develop as quickly as I think they should, I feel like I'm wasting my time not trying with someone else

I think due to the lack of dating experience this generation has, we're bad at knowing ourselves and our gut feeling. Then we go on social media and hear other people talk about dating and that just confuses us more, because then we make all sort of assumptions and rules that doesn't match the real world and our personality.

I have the same issue of knowing the sweet spot of getting to know people without either of us getting uninterested.

I dint want to entertain someone all the time. My life is all about me. They can come entertain me then leave

Almost all of this really resonated with me. I really struggled with finding gay friends too but I now have 2 who are just so crucial to my life because they understand me in a way my straight friends don't and we have never made a move on each other, I never even considered that. I think there's a lot of comfort in adult gay friendships - as an example I can really discuss dating life in a meaningful way with them and know they will be able to give me good advice - I hope you find some too heart

That's why I'm thankful for my lesbian friends because although I love my hetero friends, they don't always understand the queer experience and inside jokes we have. I just have really bad luck when it comes to meeting gay men and keeping things platonic, but if it's destined to happen, it'll happen. I'm really happy with my current circle of family and friends, so it's not something I worry about.

I am recovering from being in an almost decade long relationship where that ho disrespected me daily, used me, cheated on me, etc. so I'm not trying to commit to anything right now. I want to heal some more before I jump into something new and meaningful

My problem is I get attached really quickly, I've tried to casually date some guys since breaking up with my ex, and it got codependent and moved way too quickly every time jonnycat

Because I haven't found anyone worth giving up my free time being alone (which I cherish) for.

Lazy

Don't care

Assume men don't want commitment

Self-involved and value alone time more than time with others

Have other, more important things to do like work

Don't really know myself enough and feel I need to work on myself more

Don't like when people touch me
