In the streaming era do major labels often playlist-promote a song the same week it impacts radio? I'm wondering if that's what Atlantic is planning to do in the next couple of weeks to ensure a Hot 100 debut, or if they'll just let it do it's thing on radio.

I'm so not used to her having any sort of strategic support/push behind her music so this is all new and exciting territory

Speaking of thank God Atlantic is actually pushing this to radio, and it seems like it already has a strong start.

"I am so pleasantly surprised! It's not even impacting until next week and it already pulled in 37 adds?! Hell, the best I was expecting was ~20 at most for its impact week, and this week has it already beat!"

I believe most, not all, performers at the Grammys are nominated now-a-days, so it was unlikely she'd be performing at them. Hopefully attending.

The only way I see them pushing it on streaming before album release week is if the song does extremely well on radio. So we're on the right path for that!

I wouldn't take it for granted, tho I can see it charting on the Hot 100 in 3-4 weeks as they seem to be relying on the long run so far.

I wasn't expecting her to perform there at all, but she can still attend and present an award, if not, just her taking the time to spend a few hours going through the red carpet with Matt and doing interviews would do wonders for the album and the singles.
