I like Katy but this is one of my least favorite singles from her. It did deserve a Grammy though because it was so massive. Specifically for Best Pop Solo.

it's anthemic, catchy af, great production and even though the lyrics are cheesy it's super relatable and empowering - it's not surprising it's one of her biggest hits

This song makes me mad every time I think about the videos that teased it, I liked and still like Katy but this song is my second least favorite KP single only behind Last Friday Night

never liked it it feels like an even more irritating version of brave, easily her weakest #1

I think because the chorus sounds more rock/electro-acoustic, and she was using analog sounding synths. Perhaps because they are still in style.

It is a classic for a reason, super digestable, corny af, but still very catchy.
