I am just glad she is in a good place with men. Bobby, Michael, and some to the extent.

It is what our queen deserves.

The amount of resilience she has in both the professional and personal aspects of her life to get where she is now when we've seen a lot of what (and who) she dealt with in the past. Not many who had to deal with that would be as happy, healthy, and successful as she currently is.

He's an Indian new age guru & doctor (some might say: a quack) that writes pseudo-scientific books about healing and medicine. Gaga was really into his books at the height of her hip breaking on tour and the height of her fibromyalgia pain.

We've come a long way, my God...

How are we feeling about the rumoured producers she's been working with for LG8?

I think so far: Andrew Watt, Madeon, Giorgio Moroder, The Weeknd and Gaga herself.

Moroder can retire imo love him but yeah, let's switch him with more Gesaffelstein

Also Cirkut is a must, most of the edgier sounds in MAYHEM are because of him

Not when he could help her serve Daft Punk-esque excellency, which apparently Requiem points too. The Weeknd has also given that and collaborated with Daft Punk a couple of times.

Gesaffelstein and Cirkut have not been rumoured but I could easily see them show up as well.

I think this time, let Gesaffelstein be the executive producer but need new faces of course

Don't get me wrong, Moroder is goated and I LOVE Daft Punk, but I'm scared that gaga would feel the need do so something more Disco-y with him because of his legacy than something "new" and I'm so tired of disco chick3

I want LG8 to be dark, synth-y and atmospheric.

But if we get an album expanding on the sound of the first half of Mayhem I'd be very happy too. She's made more than enough switch-ups, maybe it's time.mp3 to build on the foundation rather than pivoting.

Even though i want a Disease kind of album, I think another Darkchild produced hard hitting bop would work so well

Considering the reception of the disco-ey tracks on Mayhem vs. the EDM/industrial ones it would make no sense to expand on the former, yeah.

It's not just TDD, if we really dig into MAYHEM most of the record is way more funky-disco inspired than anything else. And that's good, but it's time for something else now hippo

I want ambient more. A solo part without her vocal but just synthezier and instruments (guitar, bass, drum,...etc ) like Blue Monday by new order, v-2 Schneider by David Bowie or I Feel Love by Donna Summer.

Less vocal, more instruments playing

Ahhh I got it. I think the grudge/ industrial rock aspect needs to be deep diven

I agree! I love when instrumentals are given to breathe. Mayhem was a much needed improvement over Chromatica on that end, but I'd take even more for next time.

I think Gesa is definitely in the roster. She's pretty much co-opted his style lately of playing synths in her live performances, especially Requiem where she also apparently had a lot of lasers just like he does. Plus, she pointed to Killah in her Las Culturistas interview as the electro-industrial sounds she'd like to explore further. He had a much smaller role in MAYHEM so he might take on a bigger role this time with LG8. And then there's his obvious association angle with Abel.

I'm not sure about Madeon yet, he probably is just privy to her time in the studio/knows someone in her circles. But he did come back for Chrome after ARTPOP and she loves him so it wouldn't be a stretch if he is, especially if she incorporates French House.

Watt and Cirkut might be returning again too. She's clearly very proud of their work on MAYHEM.

This makes me SO excited. The potential it has to become one of her best. I really need a moody + sexy album from her.

The fact that we're able to talk about LG8 not as some far-off concept to be released in 2031 is already a vast improvement from Q2 2023 - Q3 2024. In terms of producers: I trust that she'll bring in whoever is right for whatever album she's making. Watt, Cirkut, and Geffa's work on Mayhem is so strong I'd love for them to work on LG8 too.

I'd also love to see Abel as a producer/duet partner on a Gaga album. And anyone else she brings in is probably for the best. I'm just so proud of what she did with Mayhem and where it looks like she's going next clap3

Need her to self-produce a song again. I love Venus, give me its 2.0 version.

I was just about to post this. I'd love to see her take a bigger role in production but also the team from Mayhem did a great job. Madeon, The Weeknd and Moroder are all great producers too. We are done with the era or subpar beats for good I fear. dancehall
