I think you're right, a multi-album deal must be one of the motivators to get working on the next project too. It was so obvious her former record deal with R** was a quick and dirty 1 album scenario.

Now with Sugarmouse she's got exclusive licensing with Atlantic, which I'm sure they've been celebrating that win ever since

And just one more thought...I think Hilary is really intentional about what she says these days with regards to music, which makes me think we'll actually get more of it sooner than later. Like she's very much aware of how long we've waited and wouldn't dare mislead us at this point...right?

i remember making a gif (back in the day) of the sparks video where she's waving at the camera and then it cuts to- 'see you in 7 years!' i was being sarcastic and she did end up leaving us again

The rca album deal was more than one album

Cause Hilary was already working on another album in the fall of 2015

Either she got dropped or was asked to be released from her contract

Paraphrasing but she called SRBN an experiment, especially with outfits. So she basically confirmed no jeans on the world tour, perhaps more elevated looks

She seemed really open/receptive to a Mine 2 but is obviously swamped with tour prep as that's the main focus now. No clue how she plans to manage writing a new record over the summer, but I really hope that comes to fruition. I can see her taking new inspiration from being on stage again.

I hate that this Stationhead things always happen when I'm working cause I couldn't be a part of it as usual, but an IG fan account posted a couple audios and it's so exciting to hear that she'll be working on a new album this summer.

I think she probably signed a one record deal with Atlantic as it was a huge risk to sign her for more 10 years after BIBO but after seeing the overwhelming response to her new music and everything they agreed to extend her contract.

It's an exciting time to be a Hilary Stan, but like @Stepfon said I would like for her to capitalize on the momentum she's having right now and make a movie (if Pretty Ugly is not longer happening).

Yall I can't get over the complete turn around she made with her music career. If we recall years ago maybe 3 or so she would say she doesn't have big dreams to go on a world tour. Honestly I thought with her having all the kids, she just wouldn't be into it ever again. Now look she's outselling a global tour! Her first in like 20 years, her fanbase is impressive and stay loyal.

crazy how a year ago we were probably getting hyped on whatever candles/fragrances she was promoting. but now we're all stoked for her world tour, her rerecords & a potential new album next year! we are proof that good things come to those who wait.

also i need her to perform a brave heart/tattoo/lies medley.
