I think the only thing that they have missed is a performance for the first week on TV, it would have granted her a #2 debut and probably would have sent her over 90k but other than that, what have they missed?

Key Opportunities Missed:

• The Grammys (no explanation needed there)

• Coming through with the docu-series (easy and almost effortless promo that would've driven 100K)

• An actual comeback performance(s) reachable to the general public via streaming, tv, etc

• Promotion Overseas

  • Tbh in comparison, I think Hollywood Records slayed The Dignity era with worldwide promo. I think her debuts worldwide (especially that Italian #46) would be even higher/more stable across the board

• Kelly Clarkson Show (and maybe getting a Kellyoke rendition if Hilary doesn't feel like performing)

• A big budget video for WFT (granted that the views are organic )

• Also, any physicals for the singles that would've guaranteed Hot 100 placement

But the nostalgia push is cute and they slayed with creating demand so that shes nearly unattainable, which has created genuine GP interest!

I could see this if "Roommates" were not heating up on the radio. The video, honestly, is not that bad. Be thankful it wasn't "My Kind".

I honestly think I would've switched these two singles'(?) release dates had I been at Atlantic.

But the My Kind "Music video" is truly something I've washed from my mind, but I guess I was thankful it at least it got one

The only glaring misses this era are the lack of playlisting and no major performance thus far.

Otherwise, it's been a great rollout.

I think this slayed the Call You Daddy one (aside from the Lindsay tea), this interviewer seemed way more educated on Hilarys endeavors (even mentioning her books, etc)

I wish we could get a deeper dive, though. I adore Hilary's family life focus and interviewers focusing on that. But I wanna know what she thought about the thumb sucking from the Reach Out video....Or why Dignity 2.0 was shelved...Would she do a rarities/unreleased album...stuff like that.

I assume interviews about tour details wont start for a bit.

Completely agree, feels like the major component still "missing" is the emphasis on streaming. As cool as it is to see some adult radio support, she comes from the pre-streaming era and really needs the benefit of a big push on playlists to allow people (outside of us loyal fans) to discover the new stuff because it truly deserves to be heard.

I do hope there's a more long term plan for growth there. Her monthly listeners have been climbing organically but I can't see that being sustained for much longer without more playlisting support from the label.

not very. They are usually late if a holiday falls on a Monday/Tuesday, if they need to do recounts/if sales are very close or if an artist challenges the numbers (which is rare).
