Every year it seems more arbitrary. I don't go out of my way to listen to Christmas music and I don't care when the family puts the tree up. 

Anytime between Black Friday and December 1st.

I usually put up the trees before Thanksgiving and keep them up until February but I haven't been feeling the Christmas spirit recently. I'm about to move and I'll put the tree up once I'm in my new place

Nov. 1, but I really goes into overdrive once we're about 30 days away.

Depending on my mood and on the weather.

 

It has been ******* hot those past weeks in France so it's not the best time to feel festive for me. 

 

Plus i don't like the idea of switching from Halloween to Christmas just like that. I think it's very forced and don't allow people to fully appreciate the natural flow of seasons.

 

So TO ME Christmas truly starts around November 20.
