Thoughts on PDA?

Featured Replies

So yesterday I went to a choir/classical music concert in an effort to seem more cultured, and there was a straight couple in front of me, I'd guess early 30s. Tell me why these two were getting off with each other in the middle of Mozart's Requiem? Firstly we're in a church, do you have no class? Secondly, how on earth is this the situation that makes you turned on? :toofunny2:

Things I've also seen on busy trains: a man nibbling on his girlfriend's ear; a man giving his girlfriend a neck massage whilst saying "how can I show you how much I love you"; a woman sat on a luggage rack while her boyfriend stood between her legs and kissed her.

I don't have a problem with a cute handhold, a quick kiss here and there, leaning on your partner etc...but I draw the line at making out in public. Enough is enough. What happened to consent? Me and my fellow members of the public did not consent to witnessing your foreplay.

Anyway while you're here stream this bop

Loveeeeee PDA

except when straight people do it

It's the opposite for me :giraffe:

Straight pda is mostly cute

Gays go extra sometimes but if done in good taste it's wholesome

This lie :deadbanana2: Straight people are far more disgusting and obnoxious in public than gay people are. The only places I've seen full on gay pda have been gay bars/clubs, which is one of the main reasons those places exist. The most I've seen gays do outside of that context is holding hands or a kiss on the cheek.

gross and cringe

i even told my bf i don't like doing PDA

It's actually the complete opposite :giraffe:

I don't do much more than hand holding and a peck on the lips. But I'm okay with people doing passionate kissing or whatever. If it's two men I might stare a little though

My bf and I don't like it. We both lack any hint of exhibitionism :deadbanana4:

Now why did I just have a dream of making out on a public bus, with people I know judging me in the background :jonnycat:

I think it is cringe and makes it awkward for everyone else around, gay or straight. But it sure is hot as hell when you are drunk and throw all cares out the window and fully embrace the passion. There's a time and place though

I usually shy away from PDA but when I find a lover while on vacation, it is fun to walk down the street in paradise holding hands with a hot guy and making out against the wall in alleyways :clownny:

i've always found it tacky :rip: like a cute little peck or something is fine but it's lowkey cringe when people can't act like they can't unhand each other for 5 seconds when they're in public :deadbanana2: just stay home
