I always bought physical album + iTunes everytime Taylor release the album. 
 

And I still stream her music too on my Apple Music 

No, the digital era is dead forever. It's streaming for everyday use and vinyls for collecting

I still buy albums and singles on iTunes every now and then

Webstore versions are limited now, iTunes, Amazon and independent digital retailers are not.

 

Apple absolutely jumped the gun and is doing partnerships for exclusives to take advantage of that Billboard limitation, and use iTunes as Hub for sales boosts, and revive iTunes. People will start getting creative with them, Doja's previews and Taylor's making of the album are just a start.

I'm afraid it will happen if the major label group like Universal, Sony, and Warner create their own streaming platform and hold exclusivity just like the TV & Movie streaming mess we have currently. Piracy having comeback because of this.

Why not? Songs get removed from streaming a lot of older/non mainstream artists, especially those who have been aligned to multiple record companies… what happens when you can't listen to your fave track then?
