To think the producer didn't want to put Madonna on in primtime because he thought she would be a flash in the pan has been soon.  Dick Clark had to fight to keep her spot.   🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

Cut to Madonna out lasting and out selling every performer there. 🤭🤭🤭🤭

so wonderful to think about.

all these artists raising money in such selfless ways.

most artists today are too self absorbed with big egos to do benefit concerts like these. most recent one being the LA wildfire reliefs because it directly affected some artists personally. Oh well

Love this footage of Madonna making sure everything is in place before she goes on and Bette Midler walks over to introduce herse and Madonna gives her a quick nonchalant handshake and then turns around as if thinking, "Okay.  Back to business."  😄

Some of them are dead

Madonna was so good. Singing live while running around stage playing the tambourine.

Queen's performance of Radio Ga Ga was iconic:

All we hear is Radio Goo Goo, Radio Ga Ga…

Elton John and George Michael's performance still gives me chills.

Freddie Mercury, Phil Collins, the amazing Tina Turner.... Ahhhh

So many legends.:alexz:

It's a pity Whitney Houston only got big a year after the event. Maybe they would've included her.

The car's performance of drive is iconic and haunting :clap3:

the amount of legends on that stage that day AND for a good cause at that. this is truly one of the most iconic concerts ever.

Even with him being gone, Freddie Mercury will always outlast Madonna.

To think we almost lost this woman to a bacterial infection.  All the stuff this woman has been through and survived.  If freakin bacteria were to take her out I think I'd lose faith in everything. Nothing would make sense. 😵😵😵😵
