A whole "feminist" Youtuber with 3.4 million subscribers, mind you. The comments are dragging her for highlighting trolls, at least. (haven't watched the vid yet)

Again, what is the point of sharing/highlighting this?

Will you ever have anything positive to say? Apparently not. No one cares what some random Youtuber thinks about Kesha and the crowd clearly loved it, so what's the point of posting this?

42k views w 3 million subscribers :ahh:

170 comments (and each one defending Kesha)

Why would you even share garbage like this? Okay let's post a video of a MAGA lunatic like Candace Owen's calling her a liar. Anyways, Kesha will never be on anyone's bad side except Kats and DrLuke :toofunny2:

It came up in my Youtube recommended and I need to vent.. it's never that serious.

And I know the above comment is a joke but now I really don't feel appreciated in this fandom, whatever though.

i havent seen one post of yours that DIDNT include a negative comment about something Keshas doing, releasing, etc.

and I think she got added as a main performer instead of ju st featuring on at least "Right Round" and I think "Timber" and maybe a few more tracks to boost her monthly listeners on Spotify. – Smart thing to do, but because of that I wouldn't say she's double as "successful" as when her last album got released.

Boy Crazy is aging like a fine wine, better with every single listen as you notice more details in the production >>>

You have reacted with heart emotes on all my positive comments though? If I visit my profile I can see all the positive reactions you have left me.

It's frustrating to see so much negative stuff about her online and I only posted that video here because y'all are the most positive and passionate fans, I was hoping to be validated and it isn't more deep than that. I never attacked anyone here so the comment was mean. Anyways bye.

Humble legend. She already reclaimed that title with High Road, the most creative and fun pop record of 2020 :alexz2:

But its good to see shes willing to maintain it! :clap3:

Does anyone think the era would've gone better if released within a 6 month time period instead of one year?

If only joyride and boy crazy were released closer to each other!

Joyride and Boy Crazy are pop perfection. And we know Cathedral is beautiful. I can't wait for the album.

(YKY had me worried for a minute. I hate it lmao)

I think Joyride came out because she wanted to have *something* out there. I don't mind the era having been drawn out in that way. Gag Order was only 2 years ago!

I wish this was released on Junr 4th, instead of July.

Agreed. The Trump administration could do one good thing this year and celebrate Independece Day a month early

between the complaints of her changing the album title & release date being July 4th i think some of yall have no respect for an artist's intention and what their art means to them

I don't mind the album roll-out being longer. I think it makes the most sense for her in this streaming era. I think there's just been some fumbles here and there (the long wait to follow up joyride, delusional being the second single and the ugly ai colour, yippee as the 'lead' single).

As others have said, if she released Boy Crazy in like October last year, maybe then Freedom in the new year with the album announcement, and then maybe Red Flag/Attention leading up to Summer and the album lunch/her tour, it may have helped the momentum carry through the whole album roll-out (or maybe it would've just ended up being the same idk).

And tbh I don't think I'll ever agree that Yippee and Delusional deserved to be on the final tracklist (let alone singles!!)

I think that's a tad overdramatic :deadbanana: how about what the art means to us? we're allowed to be excited enough for an album to wish it was released earlier, or love an album so much and have such positive memories tied to it that we're not thrilled when suddenly something about it is changed post-release date.

I understand Kesha's career is a sensitive topic due to the Luke mess, but fans are allowed to voice opinions both good and bad about the art as long as it's respectful. If Kesha can't handle that, she shouldn't release art; if her fans can't handle that, they shouldn't be on pop music forums.

i think my good sis @collin said this already but the strategy of teasing out the era with a bunch of little droplets that touch on different genres is actually 4D genius and builds interest for the project and the record as a whole.

there's people checking for YKY (heterosexual women) and people checking for BOY CRAZY (homosexual men).

yea i hear you but like... why should an artist shift an entire album rollout because of a leak nobody outside of stans knows about? because her fans want her to? because casual listeners want her to? like it makes zero sense to contradict the entire thesis statement of your art to give in to some needy fans :michael:

You nailed it and I don't understand this complaint about singles not being "cohesive" because it has always been like this.

For Rainbow, we had a power ballad, a slower mid-tempo song and two pop songs as pre-released singles.

High Road received two Ke$ha throwback pop songs, a country song and another rather unusual-sounding pop song as pre-released singles.

For Gag Order, the experimental duo of ETA & FL was succeeded by OLCSUN which sounds completely different from the former.

What exactly makes Period different from any of those other eras?

There is clearly a recurrent theme throughout Kesha's career that she wants to show as many different sides of her as possible and does not want to be put into one box.

David Sonenberg said as much in his deposition where he stated Kesha was different to market for major labels because she was all over the place genre-wise.

By the way, Yippee is still getting pop radio airplay after 2+ months, while Boy Crazy hasn't received any yet :clown:.
