Grindr block feature doesn't work anymore?

Featured Replies

Damn. I only blocked people who I knew in real life so they wouldn't find me, and people who deserved it. Also I have a dupe account so I blocked them too in there to prevent stuff :suburban:

It's been a while since I used it anyways, dating is not for me, and my libido is also too low the whole time (and yet I already have a few emergency contacts :gaycat5:)

Yeah, noticed that too. I usually block the ugly ones first and then focus on the hot ones, but the ugly ones can still click my profile. It's so annoying. I wanted to keep my visitors list pristine

    Hot.

This sucks. I blocked my mom's cousin years who lives down the street from us so I'm good whenever I come home. Thank god I haven't opened the app since I've been back

Guess I won't be using grindr anymore. I always block all profiles that don't interest me so new ones that might interest me show up on my grid :chick3:

I guess they figured out that lots of people were smart enough to use the block function like this and found a way to nerf it.

As long as I can block uglies and have more space for guys I would suck its all fine

How can people still use Grindr? I had it many years ago and it would always crash and the unskippable ads would come every few clicks :rip:

Not to mention it's full of DLs and druggies.

The blocking feature was the only good thing. With that gone, there is no reason to ever get that trash app again.

I haven't had it in years either, but last time I was on it every time you'd open it there would be an intrusive ad, they removed explore and made it paid, set filters to be paid, and also made it near impossible to search messages. Overall every decent feature was removed and normal functionality was placed behind a paywall :rip:

Yeah exactly but the biggest problem is the amount of "broken" people there. I felt like most were uncommunicative freaks.

Like I am not meeting you if we can't even have a few lines of decent chat as a set up :rip:

The worst is the no photo profiles wanting to meet without even showing what they look like because they're "dl"

Yeah DLs are the worst. The chance of them ghosting or blocking just before meet up is very high.

And even if you meet the sex was never good coz they have so many issues with themselves and sex with men.

I actually cannot think of a positive experience I've had on the app now that I think about it :rip:

Same for me actually. Grindr is pure trash. :rip:

Romeo is also quite popular in Germany and that's where I get most of the success coz the user base is more "normal". Also on Tinder obvi.

I've had success on Tinder but never used Romeo

this gigantic lie :deadbanana2: girl, the amount of old creeps on there alone :deadbanana2:

ot: good thing I just finally deleted Grindr cause this definitely would've been the final nail in the coffin.

Dude Grindr is so horrible now. So much more extra steps just to block someone. They even removed the Favourites tab and made it a paid feature to see them all.

I filter out oldies and also have written "Altersgrenze beachten!!!" as my header so i mostly get left alone :gaycat4:

But yeah I am not saying Romeo is good, it's just better than Grindr. At least you can have some success on there sometimes.

the way I had the same exact thing in my profile and all I got was "this sign can't stop me because I can't read" :skull: I genuinely got weirder and creepier messages on Romeo. A guy once asked me to beat him up (mind you im a weak faggy ***) and sent like a contract that showed the consent and everything :skull: and that was by far not the weirdest thing I got on there. everything from people asking me to **** their sister while they watch to rape threats.
