It's not even that it was super artsy…I feel like she was unsure of herself.  So it didn't really resonate. Wasn't cohesive. 
 

It was like half Trap and half Boom Bap…with a couple of Pop-ish songs thrown in for charts (PTTR, Agora).

Claude made it more rounded out though. But overall, it just felt little disjointed…and a lot of the meaningful aspects got drowned out as a result (ie, meaning of Scarlet, meaning of Demon videos, etc).

Plus, her stylist said she's leaning into "an 80s essence" so maybe we ran with it too much.  He didn't say 80s sound, specifically.  He was talking about style.

Agreed with the editing, hopefully the main campaign photos are better edited. The direction a complete eat though.

 

Highly unlikely for a drop on Friday. Maybe in a week or two however!

The album is DEFINITELY 80's inspired… i'm cautious (since this has been overdone this decade)

 

I do feel like Doja will explore avenues that haven't been overly touched yet!
