The bones of the track are giving very much modern Sade mixed with Promise. I'm so SCHOCKED but in a good way! I can't wait to hear the full thing!

Have an album concept and stick to it. 

Let all the imagery; (eveything down to the font) have a theme. Let it all be cohesive. No cheap looking fonts.  

Have at least three music videos (high budget) filmed before album release. Release a music video before album release (Ecstacy). The other two during album release week. 

Start the era with "Ecstacy". Do not include any past singles she's released. Send the song to radio (Especially if it picks up).  

Have at least one late night TV show performance slot lined up to satisfy the fans and to maintain her live performance portfolio up to date. Especially during album release week. 

No more cringey tiktok challenge roll outs. Let tiktok pick it up and then maybe make a cute tiktok trend video.  

Be responsive and engaging with the fans. This is how you keep the fans invested and build up a stan base. 

 

I want a grown up mature sexy look all throughout the era. No more baggy clothes and power ranger outfits. 

 

All of this seems super reasonable and I believe Ciara is perfectly capable of doing all of this. 

Absolutely! In today's world, we need 3-4 daytime and late-night TV performances, a podcast promo push, a solid radio promo campaign, and a strong web show promo push.

 

And please, no more cringey TikToks—if she's going to create content to promote the song, it has to be creative and engaging on social media without making her look foolish. 

 

She also needs to clean up her Instagram to make it more music/career/fashion centered, instead of it being so hubby/family centered & bunch of random stuff but i will just let that one slide, I guess

Wow, she is finally back. I shared my frustrations and thought there was no hope left for her, but this gets me very excited. She's returning back to form, here for it!

A few things: 

 

 

I have a feeling people (the general public) may not connect with this song at first because it has a much slower pace. When people think Ciara they immideately think crunk, upbeat dance number but this oddly always works in her favor in the long run.  This is what happened with Body Party and also with Promise, I Bet ect 

 

One thing I noticed about this song that's different..... is the production! The production feels more grown up and really feels appropriate consider Ciara is no longer this teengaer bopper artist I feel she's been trying to hold on to for the longest time. It also feels more alternative R&B (a hint of quiet storm) but still has that contemporary feel that is important.

 

This song is truly for the fans because we have been wanting growth with a hint of the old and this is exactly that. It only would be a bonus if the general public tags along for the ride. It's a win win regardless of its success because I have a feeling this song will bring her core audience of stans back at the very least.  

 

I hope they don't f it up with the next single and the album as a whole. They really have a good contender here.

We haven't heard the full song yet but even so I'm just enjoying the more mature sound. I was so sick of these teeny bopper  cheerleading songs with cringey lyrics. I'm just happy we are getting something that fits Ciara's grown woman energy.

Realistacally I don't think she'll ever receive that. However, it would be nice for BET to do a lifetime achievement award for her. Maybe for the 25th or 30th anniversary of Goodies. 

This year would be a good year for her to do a greatest hits performance since its still technically 20 years.
