she pushed over 300k DIGITAL sales in China, so those weren't counted for sure + digital sales from her shop, itunes etc. + not all sales are counted on Hanteo/Circle, it depends if the album was made and distributed from Korea, but we don't know if that was the case with Jennie 

 

but if her label and HITSDD report it then the info should be credible

I think they were testing the waters and didnt expect Like Jennie to pop off globally the way it does. Its one thing to crack South Korea, which they expected I believe, but globally they probably thought Handlebars would be the one.

Like Jennie is coming for global smash status tho, which is great to see.

 

It reminds me a bit of Beyonces dual release of IIWAB/Single Ladies and Single Ladies devouring IIWAB, which also wasnt predicted before. (Though IIWAB did really well too)

I still can't see Like Jennie doing well on Usa radio, assuming that it eventually goes to radio because most Usa people don't know who Jennie is. Dua Lipa is an established Usa radio artist and it was good for Jennie to collab with her. I do see your point though, Like Jennie has gone big time viral, Handlebars has not gone viral, which is  probably the reason why Handlebars is off to a slow start.
